Send them a right back on loan and bring in another LB? That would give us 3 lb's and only one RB.

Well, for one, KWP can cover LB and RB and, for two, was predicated on the assumption we're signing a right back. Fair point, if we don't sign a right back, we'd be mental to let KWP go, I assumed that'd be obvious but should have made it clearer.

Disagree also on the 3 left backs point - whilst it would be true in the narrow sense, I'd argue that it would free up Davies to play LCB and left back and Rose/Sessegnon at LWB with sessegnon also being an option further forward. So it would be more accurate to say we'd have 3 left backs, an extra centre back, two left wing backs and an extra attacking midfielder.

Edit - further point to this, if we sell Wimmer then having another left footed centre half would be a huge bonus (even with signing Sanchez) so would be a benefit to us having the option of playing davies there

Albeit early doors, with Fulham looking like a mid table side and Ryan seeing the success of Dele, Winks and now KWP being given a chance there's enough there for him to have had a change of heart and he's now ready to step up a level. I wouldn't be surprised to see us play Davies in a back 4 and Sessegnon as a wing back, whether it be this season, cup competitions or for the future. With regard to Rose he's had a bad injury, will need a hefty preseason once fully recovered and as we've seen his attitude stinks... wouldn't be surprised to see him sold in Jan.

Yes, I thought the rumour was that Moussa Dembele failed a medical.

"Moussa Dembele has joined Celtic for £500,000 - a lot less than Fulham would have got for the precocious teenager in January when he was on his way to Tottenham.

That deal fell through when west London Whites and the north London version fell out over any loan-back arrangement that would have kept Dembele at Craven Cottage for the rest of the season."

ITK reported it was a failed medical, which is something that would never go out to the press or else they would ruin his career.

I'm done with this off-topic chat. We're getting past my original point. Believe me, don't, really don't care. Fingers crossed Ryan Sessegnon comes through.

Still rumblings that we are gonna test Fulhams resolve on Sessignon. We really need to push for him this window, a serious statement of intent. We just have to make an offer they can't refuse, perhaps offer a couple of players on loan CCV or Georgiou

Onomah would have been the player they actually would want. In the end, it'll all come down to money and how bad Sessegnon wants to move now.

Enough to sign a new contract...

Yeah, but that was prior to this recent revived (possibly, maybe) interest on our end. There was even a mention of a new agent and them pushing for a move now. Makes sense, he/them could be a horrible injury away from missing out on a payday.

I'm sure I read a while ago elsewhere that RS was at Chelsea when very young but either they let him go or the family fell out with the club. Does anyone know if this is the case because I'm sure I read he would never go back to them?
