Yes, instantly. Obviously won't happen though.
Prob not this window.

However, if Levy was thinking he will get at least 50m for Rose next window, he may possibly outlay for Sessegnon now to integrate him into the team.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but would people be prepared to swap Rose for Sessegnon i.e. if we could get 50m for Rose (which we prob could), would you be prepared to spend that on RS? One is 17 and massively on the rise and the other is 28 and at his peak as one of the best players in his position.

I personally have no idea as I have never seen Sessegnon play, but am interested in others opinions.

Not unless we got another left back. Sessegnon is 17, never played at the top level and people are dreaming if they think he'd come straight in to our defence. He'll be an attacking midfielder imo, not a defender.

I think he would be both next season with the move to left back coming when full ready. It would be good to tie this up but don’t feel it’s going to happen until the summer of at all

Ben Davies (plus Sessegnon) for the rest of the season?

He may be both but I can't see us taking the risk that he'll be able to cope defensively in the premier league. If he struggles we have just Davies. And no, KWP is not a left back.

Like you say, Rose is at his peak whereas Sess is potential. However, I believe Sess has a much higher ceiling than anything I've seen recently. For a teenager he is highly intelligent both on the ball and off, knows when to commit, tracks back etc. Highly mobile and physically a large lad, playing with grown men in the championship doesn't phase him. If you watch Fulham basically everything goes through him, he is involved in everything good Fulham do. His recent goal tally is down to his mobility, always a willing runner, late box runs and intelligent positional play. Knows when to find space.

He does have a lot to work on, sometimes appears clumsy etc. Everything else though is positive, as a 17 year old he has everything there to make him a great PL player. I'd accept the loss of Rose if we got Sess, I think he'd be first choice next season.

Would depend on other deals for me.

If we had Sess and Davies as our only left wing backs I wouldn’t be happy.

Sessegnon for me at present looks like would be better further up pitch so if Rose goes we will need another specialist left back to replace him.

If you want players like Sessegnon to develop you have to play them. I’d be more than happy to allow Rose to move on and bring this kid in. Also I think KWP is another player who would benefit from us moving on Trippier and giving him the chance.

I think Jan can play left back (does he play there for Belgium?).

I really just wanted to know if giving up Rose for Sess was worth it.

If we continue to play with very attacking wing backs, surely that suits him perfectly

I agree he could probably do the role and do it well, but he looks so potent in an advanced attacking role and provides a real goal threat so personally I would prefer him in attacking role behind Kane and look to bring in another pacey specialist attacking left back (if Rose goes).

Our side could do with some good attacking pacey wide players as that's one thing we have been lacking really since Poch took over.

I know we had Walker and Rose bombing up wings but I like to see us have a bit more of a spread of skills across the pitch rather than relying on a small number of players to be good at each skill.

Have Aurier / KWP and Rose (?) providing some nice pace from full back / wing back but also have a bit of pace and guile further up the pitch.

We won't though. We aren't going 3 at the back every game.

I think that's largely due to Toby's injury at the moment. Once he's back I expect to see us revert to a back 3 in the majority of games. Dier hasn't really impressed in the back line IMO, and as a result Sanchez hasn't looked half as good either.

I don't. We already have Eriksen, Son, Dele, Lamela, Moura (I assume), possible Malcom in the summer for the attacking mids. I think we'll stick to the 4-2-3-1 for the most part. All onions ofc.

Not sure who we'll be benching regularly out of Toby and Jan (best CB pairing in the League) or Sanchez (record signing). Not a bad problem to have I suppose.
