lol sensitive much? with how you put your post about today's game it "seemed" like your comment was something someone who hasnt watched him before would say.
That’s ok...I guess the written word doesn’t always convey everything then does it. I mean you replied like someone who seemed like he was a smug sarcastic, asshole. Sorry I didn’t express myself more clearly.

Got a feeling that if we dont sign him this window he will not choose us come summer.
Why? He seems like a grounded kid who’ll want the best move for his progress and is putting a lot of thought into it. Don’t see why Jan vs summer should make a difference in that decision - if he sees us as best for his progress he’ll pick us, if not he won’t, regardless of the timing.

Robertson has started to deliver for Liverpool, and they have Moreno as backup + Gomez and Milner who can play on the left. While that's not the most inspiring set of fullbacks around, they're well covered. Besides, I suspect Klopp would like to spend the Coutinho cash on Aubameyang or another attacker. Can't have Mane, Salah, Ings, Sturridge, Firmino and Solanke getting lonely, after all.
He’s played on the wing about 50% of his matches this season.

If he was just after money why did he sign his first contract with Fulham last season? He could have signed a pro contract with any team.
Signing contract doesn't necessarily mean anything. He knew he isn't staying in Fulham for long, it was good for his progress, and that's for better future. So, if you don't know him personally, you can just guess that what he wants in future? To play and win, and get paid as much as possible, no? For more thoughts about this subject, ask Kyle Walker. We robbed Alli, so other clubs won't be sleeping in this case.

What has Kyle Walker got to do with Sessegnon?

We didn't steal Dele Alli. He went to Liverpool, spoke to their top people and decided that Tottenham would be a better place to develop. He's definitely been proven to be correct in that decision. He's also seen his wages go up twice since joining us so Sessegnon will know that we reward progress. Let's also not forget that if he signed a five year deal with us that will only take him up until he's 23. He'd have the rest of his career to chase mega money at the Uber rich clubs. And who knows what the top players will be earning a week by then?

I watched the Cardiff an Fulham game in Boxing Day. RS played on the wing and a lot of the time ended up in a CF position during attacking moves.

I thought he was having a quiet game but in the second half he beat a man in the box before setting up a tap in, and was then in the right place for a tap in himself. Arguably he was the difference when it was needed.

With transfer fee inflation at present you could throw £30m at Fulham and be fairly confident to get most of it back in 5 years if he just turns out to be bang average

Like I said, just a feeling. You dont think its possible that a grounded kid could decide that the best move for him would be Chelsea, or Arsenal, or Man u, or city?
We are not known for acting fast with transfers. I have a feeling he wont be a spurs player if we dont get him now.

I agree. This is an example of where we need to get shit done. Many other clubs will be in for him this summer. If we've done the groundwork, which according to ITK we have, then now is the time to close the deal. Lots could change between now and next season, and it's not impossible at all that he could have his head turned by Pep or whoever.

Whether we move now or in the summer I'm fairly certain the same clubs would be competing for him, they wouldn't just give us a free run because it's January.
