Fulham rate him at 50m. FACTS!!!

Is he worth that price?

Serious question

My answer: NO!!!

I want to spend that price on many similar aged players out there, actually, you can get them for region of 3

I think the kid clearly has something special, very much like our own Dele. To step up and take responsibility in a big game is a rare intangible in a young lad.

He has real pace and that uncanny knack of positioning in the area.

Get the point on the price though, he is not the finished article, and you could probably get an even more exciting prospect, like Sancho, for less money.

Not the same player but a lot of the commentary reminds me exactly of when we bought Dele.

Constantly scores and assists, but people always say they don’t see what’s so great about him.

Tbf Fulham deserves to be back in pl. they’ve been brilliant since Xmas. I’d like to see sessegnon stay really. He’s quality and would be best for him.

I would keep Rose and forget this lad for couple of years. No point getting him for 50m+. He is a very good prospect but think its stupid to buy him for a such a huge money. Rather spend the money elsewhere

Not sure what Rose has got to do with it. Sessegon is not a fullback any more.

The point is that all suggestions point to us still seeing him as one
Poch may see a back three as the way forward - he has used it at the start of last season when he had the right personnel.
In that case Sess may be seen as an advanced wing back on the left but he's certainly not a traditional left-back in a back four.

At the moment, we can only make the case for him come in as a Left wing back. He may not be able to get a start over Dele or Son.
So, you defeat your own point by saying we dont need him to play winger role.

Sessegnon will have to be a project. He can't come tomorrow & make a big difference in our XI. For that reason, it doesnt make anysense for a team like us to spend 50m+ for a bench player. IMO, if we buy him, immediately he could get into team at LWB. Else, he has to wait and grab his chance.

With Fulham now in PL, it makes no sense for him to move

I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign a new contract with Fulham now, whether that's this summer or during the course of next season. Their owner is going to pump a lot of money into that club.

I really dont believe this one will happen now, not this window anyway. Isn't Sessengon supposed to be a Fulham fan?

Fulham are not going to want to sell him, he's guaranteed prem first team football there, ridiculously high price tag.... all points to him staying there for now.

If they sell him after being promoted to the Premier League, their fans will be really, really pissed off. Surely can't happen now.

Ideal situation now is he gets some prem experienced next year but doesn't pull up too many trees, then we get him for a more realistic price next season. Hopefully our long standing interest means something to him.
Worry would be City's need for homegrown quota if he does well next year I guess.

If he has good season with Fulham next year in the PL, would he be worth more than £50m? I'm not convinced.
