Pinched off COYS, where it had been seen on a WBA forum:

"Allegedly, so according to my uncles friend that works at the hawthorns the deal is already agreed for the summer, the price will be £18m plus pritchard with a couple of performance and England cap related add Ons, or a straight £23.5m cash with add Ons, apparently pritchard is here to see if he likes it sort of thing because spurs can't afford the deal until the summer.

I honestly don't know how true this is just passing on what I've been told, but normally most things happen the way this guy says they will. So probably saido will join stoke in the summer now

"

They can fuck right off if they want pritchard, much rather keep Alex than get saido thank you very much.

I've stopped believing anything that comes via COYS.

Hertyid on COYS:

Guys we should all move from SB (like Levy and Poch have).

That Pritch swap rumour is bullshit just like all the they stuff we had in the Jan window, we haven't bid since the summer window and we have no intention of bringing him in now.

If we sell Pritchard without giving him a real chance I will be massively pissed off

Done.

Lloris, Vorm, (McGee)
Walker, Trippier, (Walker-Peters)
Rose, Davies, (Ogilvie)
Alderweireld, New Signing, (Carter-Vickers)
Vertonghen, Wimmer, (Ball)
Dier, Bentaleb, (Lesniak/Winks)
Dembele, Mason, Carroll, (Winks/Ward)
Lamela, Son, (Tracey)
Eriksen, Pritchard, (Onomah)
Chadli, Njie, (Oduwa)
Kane, New Signing, (Harrison)

I think you could make an argument for a back up DM and a really high quality left footed AM as well, though I'm still undecided

All the SB talk in January was peddled by the media and like 1 or 2 itks for the first week or so. That is why i was pretty baffled as to why this thread remained incredibly active and everyone here on this thread were begging for him and bashing everyone in sight who brought up his poor attitude as a reason for saying no.

When the bulk of ITK remained silent on him besides just 1, it should be clear we werent all that interested in him anymore.

I don't believe Poch changed his mind about Berahino in 4 months, wanting him in August but not in December. That does not sound like our manager.

If you look at our squad, SB is precisely what we need: a player who fits our transfer profile in terms of age and technical ability, and who fills one of the few holes we have in our squad. Moreover, he has the added bonus of PL experience and a track record to judge. Not many players tick all those boxes.

It didn't happen in January because nothing happens in January, except for Newcastle-style panic buys or urgent squad-filing by teams down to 2 CB's, or needing a keeper. It's a stop-gap window, not one where you make fundamental decisions about your squad, which the Berahino transfer would have been for both clubs. There's an inertia to the window.

Peace, having held out in the summer, was never going to fold in January. The fact the Pritchard deal happened shows communication lines are open, and I would tend to believe the reports that Levy and Peace have mended fences and probably spoken about the summer. I would expect Berahino to come to Spurs then.

While i agree about the definition of the winter window, i don't have this overwhelming confidence some of you appear to have for the lad. He's conducted himself like a right sod - sure, it might be justified in his head, maybe the manager or the chairman or even the tealady has been a dick to him, but that is not the mark of a professional. Look at Andros Townsend - young lad, gets into the team, falls out of favor, accepts his situation and deals with it by working double hard and, when the news was broken to him that there wasn't a spot for him, he sucked it up and went elsewhere - like a pro.

SB complains, looks elsewhere, is denied so posts smack on Twitter, and then for whatever reason barely features for six months. He will be rusty, out of shape and his attitude looks like a stinker from where i'm sitting. Sure, Poch might be able to shape him into a better player or even a better professional, but i want Pochs attention on the guys who are already playing for glory and with some real pride, not have him distracted by a lad who could potentially upset the apple-cart if he trains hard and demands games, else hissyfit.

Not for me.

watching him tonight in the fa cup against posh and I really we don't sign him. I just don't get a good vibe off him, our squad seems so together and united and I think he wouldn't fit in, good player, but I would rather integrate Pritchard and look at a more out and out striker
