He looked absolute shite tonight, I don't want to see him holding up the Spurs shirt on the OS anytime soon.
He's not doing himself any favours at the moment, that's for sure.

But West Brom look such a moribund, dour side. None of the players seem like they are inspired or enjoying what they do. Pulis had success at Stoke and Palace, but this lot just feel flat.

One thing's for certain, if Berahino ends up here in the summer, at a much more realistic price, he's gonna be in for a shock at the standards demanded of him by his manager and his team-mates.

I think the point people miss is that we are not in the market for the finished article, we're looking for someone who can be taught in the ways of the Poch ...

I watched the game and it was a pretty low key performance but Berahino still looked the player most likely to score for Albion, had a few good shots that he created for himself, he had to, and made Rondon look like a bloody defender, they have to be concerned about him surely.

How do you train attitude in a 22 yr old?

Probably before that you assess him based on a non-briefed press association.

Everyone needs someone to take them under their wing. Pulis is like an old school PE teacher. If you aren't 100% perfect at sport he's not interested in being in your company.

Look at Danny Rose, mouthing off about Spurs giving it the big I AM. Not a peep of it now. Arguably our player of the season last year.

Let the man do his work if he comes.

I spent most of my time when watching that match seeing what Berahino did. He was imo the best of their forward players - he kept playing little balls to team mates and no one passed the ball back. The rest of the players almost shunned him to tell the truth. Not saying he had a great game but you could see there was some class about him. Mind you he needs to lose half a stone in weight.

Anyway I was all for slapping in a bid for Samuelson based on that performance until I found out he belonged to West Ham!

EXACTLY the same.

Even Stoofette said "he plays for West Ham? I liked him until I knew that".

Ha!

People keep making out this 22 year old to be some kind of terrifying wrecking ball, like he's Donald Trump or something.

He's a kid. He's fucking clueless. Get him in, give him a talking too, hand him his shiny new tracksuit, instil some belief, and get him out on the training pitch with an epic squad full of serious business pros, and he'll be fine.

I don't follow European football enough to know whether the other options - Batshuyi, or that 18 year old at Marseilles - are a better option, maybe they are, but that decision should be about technique and potential, not because of concerns about Berahino being grumpy and out-of-sorts with Pulis and Peace.

He has quite a catalogue of misdemeanors for a kid, most of it pre Pulis.

Are you still posting this as though it is just accepted as true? We have been round this loop before.[/QUO
You still in denial?
Sent home from Brentford whilst on loan, after slagging of the manager on twitter for having the temerity to drop him.
Drink driving incident
Nitrous oxide incident
Fighting with teammate in the tunnel.
Unauthorised Sky interview, where he initiated he had outgrown WBA.
The outburst against Peace after transfer to Spurs didn't happen,
Those are some of the incidents .

I heard we pulled the plug on a signing this January because it came to light that the player in question once got a parking ticket :nailbiting:
