Pritchard was outstanding but the player that really showed for Barcelona was Traore I think. He played 7 that night. 12000 crowd too.

I thinkLuongo also played? I remember bentaleb was the one who was ineligible and got us disqualified after Sherwood picked him v liverpool. Luongo had a great game too.

That age group of players are all breaking into first teams now, I think liverpools texeira (at sporting cp) had a good tournament that year. Sterling also

'over land and sea (and Leicester).....'

Would like to think that if it came to a straight shoot out between ourselves and Leicester that he'd be attracted by the bright lights. Plus the additional wages of course that we'd offer him.

Quote - Tottenham, whose head of recruitment Paul Mitchell is understood to have travelled to the Catalan capital this weekend, regard the forward as a badly needed backup to Harry Kane, and as a talent who could be developed into an elite Premier League player over time.

Err, haven't they all gone to Barcelona? Probably a big welcome party?

If Mitchell has actually gone to Barcerloa to look at him it would imply there is more to this then tabloid nonsense. Intreaging. Although I guess Mitchell in Barcerlona could also be tabloid nonsense so who knows.

Edit: just realised the whole team are in Barcerlona for a training camp

Catalonia is a province/region of Spain of which Barcleona is the capital.

Grey Fox: Not from my normal source and can't get any sort of confirmation, but been told we might be coming back from Spain with some extra baggage. Please add some salt if you wish, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

May be this guy?
