Pritchard and Sandro were two standout players in that game.

Pritchard was outstanding but the player that really showed for Barcelona was Traore I think. He played 7 that night. 12000 crowd too.

Samper was definitely their outstanding player that night, haven't forgotten his name since. Traore and Sandro were OK, was just Traores pace causing Stewart problems. Sandro took his goals well. They were all over us 2nd half but we smashed em on the return leg

Still think Sandro was more polished than the others.Superb finishing.

Sergi Sampar, who's made a good few appearances for the full Barcelona team.

Apparently he's been really disappointing this season and had mostly been left to play in Barcelona B. Hasn't been given his La Liga debut yet either, just a handful of cup games and a couple Champions League appearances.

Sergi Roberto has been absolutely fantastic for them though.

Yeah Samper's currently captaining their B side.

Roberto is indeed ahead of him, understandably too what with him being a couple of years older iirc

SR has also been deployed all over the pitch this year, with most of his playing time coming as a RB or CM.

Samper is technically v gifted - not strong or versatile enough for Enrique's team though...yet!

Sandro is very good - but gets little chance as a CF. Would be a like for like for Kane. He's not great coming from wide. Munir playing off Kane though...now that would be a pairing worth seeing...

We'd never get Munir. Not yet, though Arda has now come in and he won't be getting too many minutes in all likelihood.

No point in this if barca have the buy back option

He comes here and scores the winning goal in every match between now and the end of the season, we win the league. We can then attract one of the best strikers in the world, Barca decide to exercise their option on him.

It's a glorified loan, sometimes they pay off. To say it has no point focuses on one very narrow definition of the point.

Not really, if he came, played regularly and well enough for them to want to exercise it just to sell him on again for a quick buck, isn't there every chance he'd choose to stay here?

And alternatively, if we got a player who performed well enough for the best side in the world to actually want him, then it'd definitely have been worthwhile signing them.
