THE REAL REASON WHY SANDRO WAS SADLY SOLD:

I always base my credit card code on my favourite players.....so it used to be MODRIC9999 then he was sold, so I changed it to BALE9999 then he was sold. I thought that sandro was great and would serve us for a decade, so I changed card to SANDRO9999 ---- thats why he was sold........
please suggest the next name I should use?? LEVY9999 or NAUGHTON9999 or ..........????

Bit of an overstatement as we brought in Stambouli whose primary position is DM as per Sandro, plus we have Capoue. Sandro was a shambles against Chelsea last season, which is what led to his falling out with Sherwood as he chose to respond to criticism with lashing out on social media rather than pulling his socks up.
Stambouli played 3,330 minutes in Ligue 1 last season, more than any other player so certainly has no availability issues - he played as many league games last season as Sandro did in the previous 2. He also covers 2 other positions so gives us versatility in the squad.

If I remember correctly the entire team was a "shambles" that day but thats neither here nor there. What Sandro gave Spurs was a tough tackling no nonsense presence in midfield. If Stambouli doesn't offer us that then whats the sense in bringing in another Capoue?

Sandro did give us some steel in MF. But he got a yellow card most games, and injuries last 2 seasons. The new player, seems to have that but better positioning and passing. Time over next 6 games will tell how we are doing.
