As others have said, not really a surprise that Sandro's forward passes are higher as he played a lot of the time anchoring the midfield right in front of the defence, where as the others in that list are all more all round midfielders who play higher up where often the right out all is sideways or backwards.

Levy is over-hyped in the transfer market anyway, it's pretty clear by now that 'Arry was the man behind our best deals during that period. Anyone wants to argue against that probably just doesnt like 'Arry.

Such as? Can't agree with that. Most of our best players were signed either before HR or without his knowledge.

All fans want a hero. And Sandro was a hero to most Spurs' fans. If the Club has decided to throw in the towel for a shot at the top four spots by not investing in quality in the transfer market, why get rid of Sandro? Would keeping him have hurt our chances too much in League table? I know that some might say that the coach didn't rate Sandro - and that's a fair point - but was he really that bad? Will those that are left do a better job than Sandro? I don't think so. But time will tell - and we'll know soon enough how well the team works and how well (or not) Sandro works at QPR.

I'll miss the Spurs icon, Sandro.

A hero? For doing what?

A hero? For doing what?

For his play on the field. A warrior who was respected by all for his hard work, commitment and skill as a defensive midfielder who could also make a pass and take a telling shot. Even referees respected him as an honest player. You could see it in how they dealt with him. For his seriousness on the field and will-to-win and his fun-loving attitude off the field. For his obvious love for Tottenham Hotspur. He was committed to the Club. It's just such a shame the commitment was a one-way street.

Much of the recent negativity I think comes from the turd Sherwood. He should never have been appointed manager. What was Levy thinking? Sherwood said he didn't believe in holding midfielders. What was he trying to prove? Maybe he wished to be regarded as some sort of coaching guru. Any club that employs Sherwood as manager in the Premier League will probably be playing in the Championship shortly after. Good riddance to him - but not good luck!

Sherwood told the media that Sandro was injured and that's why he wasn't playing him. Any self-respecting professional would want to put the record straight on that. And Sandro did so. He responded to the media that he was fit to play. I suspect that the Club didn't like that aspect of player power.

Too bad. Spurs have lost a good, if not great, player in Sandro.

And, yes, he's a hero! Not just a mercenary athlete - but an individual who cared.

So who was signed without his knowledge?

For a start HR said that he had no input in the VDV transfer and that it was a suprise from DL.

Sandro had already signed his contract with us before Harry joined so he had no input in that deal.

Modric, Bale and King were already at the club.

Which of our best deals are credited to 'Arry?

Apart from Capoue who either played in the same Mid position in place of Sandro or CB.

Hey isn't Bale a left back?
Suarez, no we don't need him.
That wasnt the question asked. But to reply to your point, yes 'Arry fucked up on Suarez but I do believe we would have found 'that striker' eventually if 'Arry would have stayed at the Club. Evidence being Loic Remy, he'd probably be our striker right now, but anyway, didnt want to start a debate on 'Arry, my point was Levy is known as this deadline day master, when its pretty obvious it was 'Arry.

A Suprise yes, but essentially it was 'Arry that had the final say. Worth noting that Levy was doing the 'Baldini role' at that time so I doubt it was uncommon for Levy to approach 'Arry with deals.

Not when you do your cruciate you dont. Thats no reason to forget how well he played for us before the injury though, which was my point.

Even before the injury he was no better than average. A legend? Not a chance.
