Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are both keen on PSV defender Santiago Arias.
AS Colombia report the Premier League duo are admirers of the 25-year-old, who they tip to leave the Dutch side this summer.

I've never seen Arias play so I won't comment on his ability but this league this and this league that is pretty tiresome. In the end it's a matter of ability, coaching and mentality. There have been plenty players who've looked pretty average in lower tiers that have made incredible leaps when moving up a few levels and players who've looked shit hot have crashed and burned several times when given a new challenge.

I've never seen Arias play so I won't comment on his ability but this league this and this league that is pretty tiresome. In the end it's a matter of ability, coaching and mentality. There have been plenty players who've looked pretty average in lower tiers that have made incredible leaps when moving up a few levels and players who've looked shit hot have crashed and burned several times when given a new challenge.

Basically, what I'm saying is that I don't rate this particular player at all... And that bringing Suarez, Eriksen, Vertonghen et al into the argument serves very little purpose - they won't make Arias a better player.

The Premier League Possible destination of Santiago Arias?

The Colombian side, who has been in the PSV of the Netherlands for 6 years, would be looking for another league. Swansea City and Tottenham are the ones who have asked for the defender.

"I'm ready for the next step in my career," said Santiago Arias in an interview for a Dutch newspaper. The Colombian side wants a bigger challenge, after 6 years in the League Eredevisie. Arias is in preseason with PSV Eindhoven in Switzerland and hopes to define his future as soon as possible. According to the English newspaper Daily Star Swansea reactivated the interest to sign the defender.
