Don't know how likely it is, but there you go

And so does Eriksen

... and so do Alves, Kezman, Clasie and a whole other shedload of flops. Seriously. Do you think this guy might be another Suarez or Eriksen in disguise?? I wonder how he has so expertly managed to hide these super skills up to this point, or the reason behind him doing so in the first place...

So what you're basically saying is that there have been bad signings from the dutch league? Just like with hmm.. let's say every league including the prem?
I've never seen Arias play so I won't comment on his ability but this league this and this league that is pretty tiresome. In the end it's a matter of ability, coaching and mentality. There have been plenty players who've looked pretty average in lower tiers that have made incredible leaps when moving up a few levels and players who've looked shit hot have crashed and burned several times when given a new challenge.

Basically, what I'm saying is that I don't rate this particular player at all... And that bringing Suarez, Eriksen, Vertonghen et al into the argument serves very little purpose - they won't make Arias a better player.

This sounds more like it. A target that is cheaper and playing in a weaker league, to fill the void left by the world's most expensive defender.

The Premier League Possible destination of Santiago Arias?

The Colombian side, who has been in the PSV of the Netherlands for 6 years, would be looking for another league. Swansea City and Tottenham are the ones who have asked for the defender.

"I'm ready for the next step in my career," said Santiago Arias in an interview for a Dutch newspaper. The Colombian side wants a bigger challenge, after 6 years in the League Eredevisie. Arias is in preseason with PSV Eindhoven in Switzerland and hopes to define his future as soon as possible. According to the English newspaper Daily Star Swansea reactivated the interest to sign the defender.

The former Equity has continuity in PSV and was one of the men with more minutes of the Dutch team last season and his coach, Dutchman Phillip Cocu relies on him. However, at the end of all European competitions, Arias said that his agent was already working on offers to leave. " I have a contract until 2019 with PSV, but I'm ready for the next step, and in the summer I hope there is clarity as soon as possible." My agent knows I want to go to Germany, England or Spain and is working on that,"he said. .

The Premier League is the first candidate and could be a great league for the Colombian by its speed and by its double function. Defense and attack. Swansea, Tottenham and Chelsea have asked about their services. .

Swansea, is the team that most bid to have it next season . The offer is around 12 million euros and to get to give his step would have a fixed place in the holder. The DT Paul Clement is looking for a lateral.

Another team that asked for the Colombian was Tottenham, the English club sold to one of the best defenses of the Premier League. Right-back Kyle Walker was signed by Manchester City for 57 million euros, so Mauricio Pochettino Would look for a player in that same position. Santiago Arias could be one of the possibilities. The English club analyzes the possibility of contracting it for about 8 million euros.
