Have we won a game on a saturday this season ? We seem to have a lot of away games on saturdays, which we always lose! Most home games on a Sunday we normally win (bodes well for the weekend!) Any comments opionions or explanations for this freakish situation?! COYS Eek

Yeah when we beat the bindippers at the lane it was a Saturday late kick off.

In general we are pretty consistent we seem to be able to lose on any occasion.
But seriously we have won, lost and drawn on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Lets hope we start showing some consistency and start winning some home games at least.

Well apart from the scousers I can't think of another win on a Saturday ? Have we won a traditional 3pm kick off this season ? If there was a table for saturday kick of oints I wonder where we would be, I guess doing well inEurope and the Carling means less Saturday kick offs. COYS

Feels like we do do better on Sundays than Saturdays.

In a similar vein, it seems in the last 3 years that we do much better in late kick-off games, especially night games, and pretty poorly in lunchtime games? Anyone else notice this? I'm from the US and whenever I watch a game and there's sun on the pitch, I have a bad feeling because those games often turn out badly.

Maybe it's just the fact that cup games usually go much better and most of those games are in the evening.

Yes we have always done better in the cups, but in the past have always done 'ok' on Saturdays! Maybe the players prepare better for Sunday games in terms of trainning etc as the build up is maybe slightly out of step ? COYS
