I forgot to add. UFA's lack of disciplinary action will count against Suarez I think. If they'd had sent him home it would have softened the ban/fine.

Nothing - inconclusive evidence as every Uruguay game becomes must see TV. FIFA even considering selling PPV rights for a special Suarez-cam. Bookies will no longer take bets on whether Suarez will bite someone, but now you'll be able to wager on who the next victim will be.

Starting now? Means he'll be back in no time

He'll be back on 1 November for their game against Newcastle I think. That's 9 PL games he'll miss and probably a few CL games too.

Apparently "All football activity" includes training.

How does that work? Is it first 4 months, then 9 games or do the games count during the 4 months?

I think it's a 9 game ban for Uruguay and a 4 month ban from all football activity which run side by side. So he'll miss 9 Pl games in the 4 month period but the 9 game international ban will last much longer.

Plenty of time to build up a healthy appetite.

The Uruguay FA are going to appeal, siege mentality taken to new heights.

I don't know, I doubt it though, repeat offender and all that.

Also wonder if Liverpool can appeal since he wasn't playing for them at the time, and they will get penalised for it. I didn't think they would ban him domestically as I thought they'd have to compensate Liverpool since they'll be paying wages for a player who can't play because of an incident that didn't happen while he was representing the club.

Liverpool are paying the penalty for having a maniac in the ranks. Seems fair enough to me. They know what Suarez is all about and knowingly take the risk.

Although the incident did kind of happen while he was at the club. And wans't he serving a ban for the same infraction when they bought him from Ajax? (I can't remember if he was serving or had already served)

So they knew the risks. And given a chance to fix this, they pulled the same siege mentality game and claimed conspiracy, just like Uruguay is doing now. So it actually seems more than fair.....it seems just.
