Buying star players within one's means is alright. We bought most members of our great Double Team, and followed up with record breaking transfers up to and including Martin peters. We were spending within our means, like Manure these days.

But I despise the likes of Chelscum and Shitty who rely on sugar daddies with morally questionable fortunes.

Was really hoping we could still have pulled this one off,

We should have bought him last year before L/pool started making holes in their squad.. He wanted to come but Levy baulked at the price, MS would have got us top four IMO, our defence was shocking last season and like him or not, players like him make the difference. instead we'll move on to plan b then plan c and will end up with just another average player.

Its really infuriating When you look at the players weve gambled big money on (Lamela) who bring little to the team then we let a seasoned dead cert of a player slip away that would bring everything we need because of the price. Id much rather we spend 30 on a MS than 30m on Lamela.

The irony is we will probably have to spend extra in getting McCarthy. We should have bought him last season

Cantona, Pallister, Bruce, Schmeichel, Ferdinand, Rooney, Vidic, Staam, Berbatov, Carrick, Veron, Anderson, RVP, RVN, Cole,
All bought by Fergie to effectively buy silverware.

I don't care where their money comes from, they're no better then city our chelsea and never have been. They have a huge financial advantage that no one will match without sugar daddies.
In fact, sugar daddies have made the league more competitive IMO.
Without city and Chelsea united would have at least 5 more titles and only arsenal would have had a chance.

I think they are a different club to city and Chelsea. Yes they've had advantages and the rub of the green but they certainly engineered their own success and kudos to them but city and Chelsea have had hollow success all bought for them.

If united weren't so underhanded in their dealings I might forgive them.
But in my opinion, they've been using the media as a tool for decades to get around all sorts of rules. They effectively tap players up through the media. I can't see how they've never been busted for it.

I don't think Schneiderling is that good to be honest. Not good enough to massively improve our squad anyway.

The slight difference is the money they spend is all internally generated. Makes them slightly less annoying than Chelski
"less annoying than chelski" you make chelscum sound like a minor irritation rather than the scum of the earth that they are. I've got no problem wth a strong United if they keep the Arsewipe and Chelscum away from winning things. A season after the double calamity of those two winning all of the major honours, I'm delighted that United are determined to stop that happening again.

Easy to say now but I never thought he was coming. Good player but 20m is a lot and he was open about champions league. Glad the scum didn't get him.
