After only a month at the helm he's already resigned apparently:
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/mar/14/paul-scholes-resigns-oldham-manager

Claims he hadn't been able to work as he was led to believe prior to taking the job. Not sure what he means really, whether it's an interfering owner or just not being given a massive wedge to spend in the summer or something. Very odd either way.
Scholes said...."I wish the fans, the players and the staff - who have been tremendous - all the best for the rest of the season and will continue to watch and support the club as a fan." One can only assume he is therefore referring to problems with the owner/board of directors for his sudden resignation. I'd have thought these sort of details would have been thoroughly thrashed out before agreeing to the job though.....somebody has been telling porkies and misleading people :finger:

Bet Mourinho is pissing himself.
Lol first thing I thought!

Was good at giving Mourinho all the lip but couldn’t hack it himself!

Regardless of any issues, shows him as a bit of a quitter to me.

Sometimes you get in a situation and realise it is just no good.

Interestingly the owner (a former football agent) took over in 2018 and has had FIVE managers (including a caretaker one).

Hmmmmm that’ll end in tears methinks, reminds me a little of Leyton Orient randomly.

Scholes apparently advised bad idea but his dream job.

Mourinho still probably pissing himself, as I would in his position lol.
