wondering if people realise they're buying £2000 STs
One advantage these tickets have is that they are season tickets whereas the more expensive premier seating have to be taken on a three to five year term and are not season tickets.

I'm wondering how many people will not pay the full whack for their ST's and decide to lose their £50 deposit? Be interesting to see what the club will do about that, as there will surely be some. Maybe quietly put them up for sale to the next on the list I suppose.

Okay, thanks for clarifying mate.

I have a ticket in 517, obviously on the understanding I may miss some cup games. I'm just hoping I can see the European games from my seat, and I can deal with being shipped elsewhere for domestic cups.
You'll definitely be fine! The European allocation will barely be any bigger than the PL one, potentially it might even be the same for GA areas once they deal with corporate obligations and whatever, but no season ticket holders will have to move for them. It's only domestic cup games with the much bigger allocations that comes into play.

They're increasing the number of ST holders by 2k so we'll be going down the Bronze list for that anyway, those who don't renew (whether by never reserving a seat or not paying the balance) will just keeping being offered down that list.

(y). The other thing is if the 1882 sections do not sell out whether the club will offer 'special 1 off introductory deals' whereby people are encouraged to pay say half the difference for a single season to 'appreciate' what's on offer. Mind you if I was sat next to someone who I found out had benefited this way when I had paid full price then I would be a bit pissed off I suppose.

Yep, looks to be! Nice seat by the way!
It's not bad as it's on the same row as the 1882's but closer to the south, which is where I wanted to sit. Had a hard choice there - would have considered an 1882 in there if it was only one season and I could easily change next year. Not sure that's the case though.

If for any reason Spurs had to offer 1882 seats (or any for that) at reduced price, they would HAVE to refund the difference to everyone else that paid full price.

I see the chance to sit elsewhere as a good thing tbh.
My Wembley ticket is in 546 in a top corner. For cup games I sat in other players to check it out.
Bottom tier is so much easier getting to and home from.

Yeah I mentioned earlier in the thread I tend to take family to domestic Cup games so wouldn't be able to use my ST seat regardless.

Last season at WHL I had at least one match in upper and lower of all 4 stands. Really made the most of our final year there!

My last game was the NLD. 22 years going to the lane in various places, and that was the first and last time I got a white seat!

Club have played it to perfection. They'll go down the bronze list and sell those 1882.

Everybody knows (including those who purchase) that they are ludicrously bad value but if it's a once in a lifetime chance to become a season ticket holder, you love Spurs and you have a bit of cash you'd prob do it.

Basically a way for the club to cash in on desperation at the tail end of the season ticket list.

They'll have been running models on this for the last year to estimate correctly.

Can't help but have a respect for DL for his shrewdness as a business man (and you cannot deny the club is being run like an efficient machine) but it definitely leaves a somewhat bitter taste. It’s about a product and what is the highest price you can get for it. In years gone by it was about more than that. But times have changed I suppose.

I have more bitterness towards those fans that have held tickets in the south blocking me from buying them.

If it means that much to them let them waste their lives holding tickets every half an hour for however long.

I know I would have more important things to do.

They only stay in your basket for half an hour, don't they? How can people hold them back for days; do they not sleep?

Personally I think its glitches in Ticketmaster sales, I've noticed at Wembley with sold out games like Juve suddenly you get the little blue dots appear in previously sold out sections. As you can only hold for 1/2 hour this tactic falls down on the morning of a sales phase, loads are in the queue system so while you are in the doughnut and trying to hold a seat your half hour runs out and the seat becomes available, surely someone is going to snap it up especially those desperate for South stand seats.

I can’t remember the exact figures, but I’m sure there was supposed to be around 8,000 tickets available to members/GA.

62,000 less
approx 3,500 away fans
8,000 corporate
500 media/directors box etc.

Leaves 50,000 less 42,000 ST sold.

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m sure that’s about right.

Looking at the live ticketing site there is no way there’s 8,000 tickets left over. Maybe they are actually keeping some back in various locations.
