People have clearly been able to get on and purchase from around 9:30, so maybe not a conspiracy.

The concentration of tickets unavailable in certain areas is incredibly highly unlikely to be anything other than seats that the club held back from selling. Blocks 418 - 422 all have the back two rows reserved. Block 504 & 505 also have the front 7 rows reserved. The club have definitely held seats back.

Of course the club have held Tickets back. They’ll want to be able to sell tickets for each stand all around the stadium for match day tickets.

Confused why that would surprise anyone

Could just be General Admission tickets, the club never said every seat would be available.

I was on it v early and there were already large sections greyed out. They have clearly taken all the best tickets in the west upper at least and not made them available to actual supporters

So Season Ticket holders are the only people that can be classified as actual supporters now? Wish I'd known that during my 10 years on the Waiting List.

That's not what's happening.

You really think they're going to hold back the front 2 rows of the west upper, ie some of the best seats in the house, for general admission? Not a chance - they're back doored to friends and family.

I don't have a problem with the club holding back tickets. If the club want's to hold back 3 quarters of the front row seats on the halfway line, they can do that if they want, not that it's particularly fair on those hoping to get season tickets in those areas.

I do have an issue however with the lack of transparity from the club over this. Why they couldn't have made this clear to fans before hand I have no idea.

The back two rows of 418-422 are disability access seats, wish they'd use a different colour to make it clearer.

They said yesterday that there's only going to be 50,000+ tickets available. 3000 or so for away fans and then the rest will be the ones held back for GA & club sponsors/ staff etc

"We shall have approximately 39,750 existing Season Ticket holders selecting from a pool of more than 50,000 seats available within the new stadium bowl. We shall then go to our Season Ticket Waiting List to bring our total up to approximately 42,000."

Any idea which end we plan to kick towards first half, and which for second half??

(Sorry if already mentioned)

So far, they've sold 7 as far as I can see.
In many ways this a similar package to the 8,000 seats they have been selling except that instead of a really good seat you get, by the looks of things, some of the not so desirable seats but pay at least £1500 less than the cheapest of those

All depended on when you got your email. You had to click through from that. So some lucky people must have got theirs early!
