I had 3 different browsers open from 9am - kept going between Buy Now on season ticket page and seat plan and about 9.30 it allowed me to pick a seat and process through to checkout. All done and ticket secured in Block 123 Row 16 - still a little annoyed that i can't sit with the guys i've been sitting with for 9 years as they've bought in phase 2/3 but they're in Row 18 so not too far away!
Been discussed loads but i do think they should have done away with Phase 4 and incorporated with the phase 3 maybe - would have allowed the 1000 odd people that have had their season tickets between 1-10 years to stay with mates that they have sat with for last 10 years!
Moan over - happy to have a ticket in the block i want and maybe i can move over next couple of years?! *Anyone sitting on their own in Row 18 Block 123 Seat 722 - 734 that wants to move a couple of rows down give me a shout!! (y)

Job done - Block 210. For those still struggling, I had multiple browsers and eventually MS Edge had signed out, signed back in at about 5 past and was able to proceed normally. Have had a confirmation email straight away - good luck to anyone still stressing!

Sorry probably been done to death in this thread but which blocks are the potential safe standing blocks in the south stand?

Similar issue here: clicked "complete purchase" and got the wheel.

i'm on the donut too and not moving. Been in the same spot since 9.48

In fact, there had been a website error. Eventually, the wheel of death disappeared and went back to the "basket", with a message telling me that I had only 5 minutes left to complete my purchase (which I had already done). I had to re-enter all the payment details. This time it went through.

I'm not where I wanted to be, which was Block 529. Would have had to be too far back. Opted for the equivalent seats at the northern end of the Shelf, Block 523. A bit close to the away fans and with the possibility of sun in our eyes, but better than being behind 20 rows of people (my partner is very small and can't see over people).

Are there any official standing blocks?

Because if there aren't and if people think Levy is going to spunk squillions on a stadium only to let people get away with it like they did at the old ground and stand up en masse, they might eventually turn up for a game to find a letter attached to their seats.

I would be very surprised if it didn't go sour for the 'standers' eventually once the kinks have been ironed out.

Would be interesting to see if the club does take that stance. I remember in the Park Lane when they did used to bother to try and get you to sit, by the time it got to about row 20, either goalmouth action or a song to stand up to, they had to start at the front row again! I think the club just gave up in the end.

I know, but I think in such a big stand, so many doing it, it'll look different.......oh I dunno, maybe I'm wrong but personally I think it could become a huge problem for the club if it gets highlighted and picked up on by the authorities.

Do you remember when they had that steward who always motioned for people to sit down? It was a complete waste of time.

The club's created a section futureproofed for safe-standing, gone out of their way to tell us that and advertise as such, not allowed junior concessions in there as they "might struggle to see", and made sure that there's a raised wheelchair row behind it so that even if everyone's standing in that section is doesn't obscure views for the rest of the stand. I don't have that much faith left in them but that really doesn't sound like they're planning to try and force everyone to sit down.

View attachment 36903 Hi does anyone know what the white rectangular thing on the interactive map directly in front of West Upper Blocks 504 and 505 is? Here's a screenshot and I’ve marked the two blocks behind the white thing.
Sorry if answered, no time to read all the pages, but I believe they are the tunnel club seats which have to be bought through the premium seats people, not as a season ticket.

What about us fans (me!) who were in phase 1 but have to wait until phase 6 because I had the misfortune to have a son born 6 yrs ago, who only managed to get a ticket at Wembley this year. Season ticket holder since the year we signed Lineker but I'll have to settle for a ticket up in the Gods for my loyalty. Young supporters being the lifeblood of the club, eh
I think they really should have made an exception for people who are in phase 1 with kids in a different phase.

I can't understand the logic of this. Why would they provide a standing area at all if they were going to allow standing all over the gaff?

Do all new stadiums have to be built with provisions for safe standing?

Thought the 1-10 year season ticket holders were Phase 5 for some reason so didn't realise I was in Phase 4 until receiving the email at 10 this morning. Managed to log in ok though and got a seat in Block 212 which was as close to my old shelf side seat for a similar price that I could find. View looks pretty good and well happy with it!

The future-proofed areas designated for safe standing have nothing to do with the issue of making people sit down in their seats. They are unrelated.

The safe standing areas will be equipped with rails to prevent crowd surges. If standing is legalised again, the seats will be removed from those areas and anyone who has a ticket there will only be able to perch on a bench, not sit in a seat.

Changing those areas to standing would also increase capacity.

Getting worried that there will be no concessions available in non standing areas. Trying to decide if I should sell my tickets for the last home games and plan to sell the Cat A ones next season to help fund a ticket. Decisions, decisions...

Is the first row behind the designated safe standing elevated more than any other row, if that makes sense?

I think they really should have made an exception for people who are in phase 1 with kids in a different phase.

I agree in theory, but imagine be the guy who has had his ST for 12 years, is phase 4 because of LPs and loses out on anything even close to what he wants because 8000 of the people in phases 1-3 got seats for theirs kids who’ve only been going for a year or two. Could be a guy with bad eyesight and low income who now can only afford a remaining seat in the heavens, or has to pay through the nose to be able to tell the difference between Kane and Dier.

Good to see at least one person around here is pleased.
