Reaching D day this week as a mater is in Phase 8 and was just wondering on what people‘s thoughts on re sitting at the top of the south stand versus north stand. Me and one mate want the south stand atmosphere but obviously with all the lower parts gone and given that I don’t want to pay more than £1,000 it only really leaves sitting at the very top. The view looks good and after many seasons sitting in the first 20 rows of lower tiers it may be a good change but I was just wondering what other people’s views on and why they chose upper bits of the South rather than North.

There will be nothing left in South upper for phase 8 , unless they are holding some seats back at last count 22 seats left in upper rows South

You don't reckon? There's a few left still now, maybe it has not been updated after today.

Looking like majority of the 1882 seats in south are going to be general sale tickets. They're going to have to price them min £125 per game otherwise it's incredibly unfair on people who will miss out on south stand season ticket. It was one thing having these high price season tickets in best stand but now no one wants them it'll be rich one off attendees taking them now.

I am not looking at the interactive map , I am looking at the actual sales website , if you go to https://www.eticketing.co.uk/tottenhamhotspurstadium/ and log in it should allow you to look at the actual sales map , it won't allow you to buy as its not your phase but you can see what's left. The interactive map is way out of date

I'm looking at the sales window now and sadly it looks like the south stand has gone unless you fork up for 1882.

Just looked again its now down to 17 left in the whole of the south stand apart from 1882 seats, but every now and again new seats seem to become available. Same thing at Wembley , blocks sold out suddenly have seats available not sure what Ticketmaster are doing

Agree, I wouldn’t give such advice to anyone unless I knew for certain.

On the other hand I personally wouldn’t trust a random person on the internet on such an important matter when the info is so easily available to look at yourself.
Blimey I don't believe anything I read on here at all, including stuff I post...
It's all just bants innit...

I think it is most likely people holding tickets in their basket and it then being canceled so reappearing, rather than the club releasing new tickets.

This whole ticket process is not very transparent, block 203 has been shown as sold out all day now suddenly three seats together become available in row 58 , Ticketmaster run the systems what are they doing !!! Unfair on anyone looking for south stand couldn't find anything and then chose somewhere else.

Update ....Now they have gone again

True but normally you only get a certain amount of time to confirm, 203 has been sold out all day now three seats become available !!

Or if you were a particularly conniving individual you could keep reserving those seats every 30 minutes, at least during the day time, until the next phase to make sure your friend could get a seat there...

My apologies. I initially thought that you were asking whether the season ticket only included PL games. Had I known you were about to base an enormous purchasing decision solely on my attempt to be helpful, I would probably not have replied at all. To be fair, you gave no such indication when you asked the question.
I’m not looking to start any fights. That’s why I didn’t name check you. But if you look back on the thread it was obvious I was going through the online buying process at the time and was looking for advice as I went through it.

All I ask is think next time because I could have been a guy selecting seats next to his mates who you’ve split from his mates for the cup games based on your advice.

All I’m saying is the timing was awful. It was obvious we were all logging in at 10am for the best seat. It would have been better had you just said “my mistake” instead of trying to excuse the mistake. But then true apologies are a thing of the past so no matter. The always coke sign a “but”. Enjoy your seat. Please don’t respond. Not interested in a fight.

I've had another scout around the site. There is no way near to 17k seats available for purchase at the moment - maybe a few thousand. Where are all these available seats if the club is not 'holding a bunch back'? They seem to be controlling the sales process and where they want people to sit.

What makes you think there should be 17000 available now? About 35000 people have had a chance to buy, so I would have thought only another 5000 or so should be available to phase 8 people like me.

Seriously? Is taking responsibility for your own decisions a thing of the past too?

The club said it was from a pool of (around) 50k seats.

It does seem to be a bit fishy.
