Hi, just noticed that my old membership Direct Debit is due to take £48.50 from my account on Tuesday, even though I've had a season ticket since last year and have put down my deposit for a new one. If I remember correctly membership fees were refunded to new season ticket holders last year. Direct Debits are generated by the payee so I'm surprised this is still going to come out.
Other new ST holders might want to check their bank accounts as well.

i don't know if anyone got the answer ...but if one applies to buy their season tickets with finance but gets turned down, THFC have a statement on the website that says, if your application is refused then your purchase may be cancelled; not that yours offered another way to pay, but their intimating the purchase is subject to cancelation

has anyone had the finance refused but gone on to pay by another method

No, but I would get in contact with the ticket office straight away.

Does anyone know where I can find an image of a season ticket price map for the scum? They make the most money in matchday revenue in the world and I was curious to see their distribution of pricing rather than just the average ticket price that you find in the media. Comparing it to the layout of NWHL will be interesting.

For some reason, it's a real pain to find anything.

Have to say it's nice to follow a club with a decent internet forum (cheers @Rob ) and the OS is not perfect but still far better than most other clubs. Serves me right for going on scum websites I suppose!

Can't answer your question, but I do know they are far more generous than us, with their average ST including a few cup games at the least. In fact, I'm sure they used to include the CL group games, a concept which probably has Levy vomiting a little in his mouth :D.

yeah we are league games only now after reductions over the years. the scum get league plus 7 cup games excluding league cup, and they issue refunds the following season if they don't get 7 combined fa/european home games and also if they deem the category of the game too low to be worth the ticket.

then again, their demand is falling and ours rises.

You have to look at why their demand fell though. The prices are reasonable now but were far above others when the stadium opened in 2006. Existing fans gave up and were replaced by people on healthy salaries who'd always been fans but never had season tickets before or really committed to the club. Lo and behold those people aren't willing to keep going to see the fight for 6th place with Burnley (even though Arsenal have a fantastic home record), the ones who were priced out have moved on and won't come back just because the prices are better now, and a whole generation of teenagers who were toddlers when they left Highbury have barely ever been to matches and never grown that interest in going to football. They chose short term gain and have suffered long term damage which there's very little way to fix except to suddenly do very well again on the pitch or reduce the priced to practically throwaway levels, West Ham style Kids for a Quid and all the rest of it.

We used to offer what, 2 cup games in the package?
These days, those first two games could be 1 league cup game on a Tuesday and either 1 champions league or 1 Europa league match.

If it's a league cup and a Europa league match, they're £5 - £10 a game and most of the fans don't bother to turn up for games against nobodies.

The champions league has been done, and will continue to be done with multi game offers.

I'd be curious to see what arsenal charge, to include 7 cup matches but it's worth noting that of those cup games include a certain number of higher profile fixtures, they charge you more or you lot out of going.

To be fair offering the league cup matches is a bad idea because of silly competition rules. Not only is the ticket revenue shared between both clubs, but the pricing has to be agreed. So if all the ST holders already have tickets, the away team push for as high a price as possible and the club just has to cover it for the ST holders (even if they don't even turn up) while members are left having to pay £25 or £30 for an early round game.. If we dont include it and therefore guarantee sales the away team may agree to lower prices so that there's a higher attendance and they end up with more money.

So I'm paying for my season ticket through V12 finance and they've requested some docs off me proving my address etc.

If this process isn't sorted by the deadline (Weds 16th May 5pm) does that mean I lose my season ticket?

I am waiting on V12 finance to confirm my application so not really a lot I can do at the moment....

Probably best to check with the season ticket help line how it works before its too late.
