Yes got the email that said I've got the opportunity tomorrow to buy one. Had a look at what is available and will try I think.

*Might not matter now as since I've originally looked, the seats I was looking at have now gone? Assuming they've just been sold? Or would they be held back for tomorrow? Any ideas?

Last time I saw the sales map all that was left were the seats like you get in west end theatres with the £1 in the slot opera glasses attached to seats in front of you.:)

My wife and I finally got our season tickets after on waiting list for a few seasons. We are not able to sit together this season unfortunately.

May I ask if anyone remember what’s the process of allowing existing season ticket holders to choose a new seat in past season ticket renewal process? Want to see the chance of sitting together with my wife in future seasons.

Do they first ask if existing season ticket holder would like to keep their existing seat? Then allow existing season ticket holders to choose any new seat available?

Thanks.

In previous years you had to fill out a form to transfer/move seats and send it to the ticket office.

To those buying in this round how many seats appear to be left?

I would say about 75-100 seats approx and they are all in the 1882 sections.
I've literally spent about 2.5hrs this morning consistently refreshing my screen waiting for tickets to reappear in non 1882 seats and was fortunate to get 2 together in block 521 in the North stand

When I renewed at WHL I was just offered the same seat, probably best to contact ticket office and see whether they can put a note on your account about future renewals and the chance of getting seated together next season if there are some non-renewals.

Seems to me that season ticket sales have not been completely above board. The club released the following on 16th March........

We shall have approximately 39,750 existing Season Ticket holders selecting from a pool of more than 50,000 seats available within the new stadium bowl. We shall then go to our Season Ticket Waiting List to bring our total up to approximately 42,000. ......

So it appears that existing season ticket holders had a choice from over 50000 seats , I think the renewal was around the 38000 mark , so in theory that would leave 12000 seats for the new quota of 4000 from the waiting list to choose from to come up to 42000. What in fact it looks like they have done is only offer a selected 4000 seats including the 1882 to those on the waiting list , that ensures that most of the 1882 get sold. Good business sense but it certainly looks like those members who chose not to take a season ticket will have a choice of some better seating positions than some on the waiting list who did take up the offer and only found it was very back of upper tier or 1882 on offer. Good business practice or foul play ?

I think the only error in this regard was the way they worded their statement around a choice from 50,000 seats.

Even as a new ST holder, I would rather they held back some seats in popular blocks for members to buy. It wouldn't be fair on those members if only poor seats in terms of atmosphere or view were available to purchase.

Odd how block 530 was a lot more popular than 501 for the season ticket renewels but since going on sale to the waiting list 501 has smashed 530*.

I’m confused... what’s odd about a block selling more in both renewals and on the waiting list o_O
