It definitely won't be deducted. They're saying it'll be automatically refunded back to the lead booker. Any additional people added to the booking will need to phone to to obtain their refund.

Really poor service there. I thought the 1/19th refund to be used as credit would make the 1 off trip to hell good, but it's working out terribly.

I am the lead booker & have not received the automatic refund.
Not at all surprised, looks like another phone call & waiting ages on hold again.
Maybe they're hanging on to our money so that Levy can spend the extra few quid on a mega signing, or just signing anyone!

In the email you get regarding your Newcastle application it tells you how many loyalty points you’ve got

Also have not received the refund on Fulham game but if a credit card was used to buy a Fulham ticket I know that on a Nationwide credit card it takes about 2/3 days for any refunds to show on the account so I will give it until Thursday before getting in the phone call queue.

I just emailed the ticket office.

"the below email stated I would receive a refund no later than the 30th. It is now later than the 30th"

This is what they sent back (immediately)

Thank you for getting in touch with us, we've automatically identified your query as relating to the delivery of your One Hotspur Membership pack and your Stadium Access/Membership Card. The below information should instantly answer your question.
We've not yet started sending out Gift Pack's for the 2018/2019 Season, we'll let you know via email when your Gift Pack is on its way. We'll keep this article up to date with timings: Membership packs & Access Cards
You can check and update your address details by logging into My Account: see our handy guide on how to update your address in our help section: Change your address or account details
Introducing Packtrack
This season we're introducing the ability to track in real time the location of your Gift Pack, which will include your Stadium Access/Membership Card. Once we start sending the Gift Packs, you'll be be able to track your pack simply by using your Client Reference Number (CRN) to get real time updates. The packs have also been designed to fit through standard letterboxes.
As we've identified your query to be related to receiving your Membership Pack / Stadium access card, we've automatically closed your query (query # 41663). If you have further questions, please simply reply to this email which will re-open your query and one of our Customer Service Team will be able to take a closer look.

If I thought they were gonna use it to buy a world class midfielder I'd say keep my £55 but that's not how it feels, is it.

If refunds are not received this week, next course of action is to contact your debit or credit card company and get them involved.

May have to resort to emailing Donna Cullen if refunds aren't being issued, could work.

Response to follow up

Thanks for your email.

The Ticket Office Manager has confirmed that refunds are starting to be processed from today. You should receive a refund within a week but do let us know if this is not the case. We sincerely appreciate your patience at this time.

Kind Regards,

Daisy

So we were advised we would get the refund no later than 30th July, but they didn't actually start processing them until today.

Hopefully they aren't snowed under at the moment with planning for another game at Wembley....

Not something she responds to well, I remember someone on here emailing her to complain about something a few years ago and she palmed it off to someone else with an email saying that they'll report the guy to his employer for emailing a complaint from his work email address!

Maybe she doubles as a Mod on COYS on her free time, not always easy to separate your role at different jobs

Got the email about Cup autopay today. Out of interest, as I don’t know because I’ve always opted in, if I don’t opt in do I still have a window of time to secure my usual seat before it goes on sale to members/ the public? As I love quite far off these days so getting to whl midweek for a March v Barnsley is not as easy as it once was,

Would assume so - certainly always used to be.

Main change seems to be that you can no longer opt out of it for individual matches - while this wasn't publicised a lot of people seem to have clocked on the last couple of years. You could sign up to the scheme, get an extra 10 Loyalty Points every season, avoid the booking fees, and then just opt out from Rochdale at home in a replay you didn't want by calling them up. Now it's only 5 LPs, and if you don't want to go you have to use the ticket exchange - fine for the Champions League, not so useful for Carlisle in the League Cup. So it's only worth it if you definitely want to go to all the cup games*, or are willing to spend a bit of money on tickets you don't want and might not be able to get rid of for the loyalty points (the 5 point bonus plus the points for the games you don't actually go to)

*If you only miss one cheap game, the cost is pretty small. We probably play 8-10 home cup games on average - if it's 9 and you go to 8 of them you save £14 in booking fees, but probably spend ~£25 for a cup ticket you don't actually want. So you've spent £11 for likely 9 loyalty points**, and you might be able to re-sell the ticket (especially if you sit somewhere desirable like the South Stand) which means you just save on booking costs and get the free LPs. If you're likely to miss more than a couple of games though it starts getting pretty expensive.

**Assuming that like for league games they don't get deducted when you re-sell.

I’m a season ticket holder but chose not to buy my old seat at Wembley for the game. If I choose to buy a general sale ticket now, does anyone know if i’ll receive a refund still?

They will offset the cost of the new ticket against your account.

Hang on? You guys got the Fulham game refunded to you in sterling? How did you do that I’m sure I didn’t see an email about that... only that it would come off next year’s season ticket??

Call the ticket hotline, they did mine without fuss.

Shouldn't really be having to call to get your own money back, but hey ho.
