Don't want us to sign Nick Young, tbh

If you read my post correctly, you will see that I mentioned players with combined trickery and pace. Pace for breaking the line and trickery against stubborn defences!
Nice try at a save, but that's more transparent than a window pane.

Given our scouting chief & team has changed, I really don't believe they will continue to followup last seasons interest in him.

And beaks for eating honey

A striker that has tons of pace and trickery hmm that will be easy and cheap :cautious:

Shame if he goes to Zenit. Maybe it's due to the similar climate .

I think pace in Europe is going to be crucial for us or at least some more trickery. I'd still love us to get Mahrez.

Apparently this kid is going to Zenit for 20 mil. Strange move for him.

Poch should know plenty about him through Argentine connections. Not just his ability, but his character and the people around him, which are crucial for a young player coming from South America to Europe.

Driussi has already played 60-odd games for River Plate, with a good goal scoring ratio, and is only 21. From the videos he's got quick feet and aggression and could probably play in any of our AM positions.

If the price is £20 million, then it depends whether Poch and our scouts thinks that represents value in the current insanely inflated market. And if Poch thinks Driussi is good value and is a player he can develop, then I suspect we'd have a good chance of persuading him to come to London rather than St Petersburg.

He's already gone to Zenit. They activated his release clause that was 15m euros. As the release clause implies straight up cash, when you add the taxes and player percentage fee it adds up to something like 20m, which is the number the news are reporting
