same as, well apart form the old age bit  used to go to the county ground every week in the dyas of hoddle/moncour/fjortoft/bodin et all ahhhh the good ol'daysSwindon Town, my local team when a kid, my mate's dad used to take us regularly, and they beat the Gooners 3-1 in a giantkilling feat at Wembley 1969 to win the League Cup when in the old Third Division. No second string team from the Arse in those days, but they still whinged about the muddy pitch. Some of the oldies on here will probably remember Don Rogers, Swindon's two goal hero, who went on to play for Crystal Palace and QPR, who were both top division back in the day.
booooooooo dirty scummy bastards, hows joey beauchamp, still afraid to leave the city limits?BOO! Oxford United are my local side, and I have been along to a few of thier bigger games.
The games against Swindon were always brilliant.

One of my mates also has that option and doesnt go as well!Bigger games, like against Crawley Town and Stevenage Borough, or the mighty power that is Burton Albion.
Best thing about Oxford's ground is the Vue multiplex, bowling and bingo. Went there during a home game the other week and still got a parking space. My best mate has free access to a box there, booze and food on the house, and has still given up going!
was talking to my mate about this the other day...thinking who we'd support if our team were to dissolve...and if there was a club created by the supporters, i.e Afc Tottenham hotspur, or Spurs..like AFC wimbledon or FC United did..then id support them...but if not then probably Kingstonian..local team
One of my mates played for them
