It's a pity he's a dodgepot. Based on ability and physical attributes he'd be the ideal replacement to Walker.
From what I've seen of him, which admittedly isn't vry much, the guy has zero ball control. He's another one that flatters to deceive. It's a no from me.

Well maybe somebody should tell BBC, talkSPORT, ESPN, Metro, Sun, Independent, Express, etc who have all linked him to United in the last week...

just shows how those news sources really don't have a clue. They are being fed stuff I presume by his agent and they just print it without any checking.

#thfc maintain an interest in PSG's Serge #Aurier but they want to bring his £22m price tag down.

Just read this article on Caughtoffside...

Tottenham have been linked with an unlikely move for PSG’s Serge Aurier, despite uncertainty whether the defender is allowed into the UK.Aurier was refused entry into the UK last season, missing PSG’s Champions League game against Arsenal, following a conviction for assault.Having lost his place at PSG to Dani Alves, Aurier is now looking for first team football and Tottenham are looking for fresh reinforcements given Kyle Walker’s recent move to Manchester City.Accrording to a report in Le Figaro, Tottenham are in pole position along with Inter Milan, after Manchester United dropped their interest in the controversial Ivory Coast international.PSG are likely to demand a fee in the region of €25m for Aurier.Whether Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will countenance such an offer for Aurier remains to be seen.Along with this assault for conviction, he was suspended by PSG after criticising then-coach Laurent Blanc and some of his teammates on Periscope. On the field, Aurier also made some enemies when he celebrated a Cote d’Ivoire goal against Mali with a throat-cutting gesture aimed at the opposition fans.Aurier has insisted he is changed man. “I’m someone who is very strong mentally,” he told Stade 2. “Aside from that, I don’t follow everything that goes on. Things have happened, and then it continues, it drags on, because people want to talk about it, maybe want to destroy me.
I’m keeping a low profile, I work, I’m trying to stay true to myself.”

As said before...give me Pereira every time.

Can a leopard change it's spots even under MP's guidance? That is the question. For myself, if there is any truth to this rumour, I would not be prepared to take the chance regardless of his alleged skill. I wouldn't want to risk a Costa in the squad.

Legally this probably could happen. When he tried to come here for the Champions League, it will have been a temporary visa application going through the Home Office who have taken a fairly tough stance on convicted criminals since Theresa May was in charge there. If he tries to come here permanently though, the Home Office devolves responsibility for whether or not to grant visas to footballers to the FA, who judge purely based on player talent rather than any assessment of personality, character or criminality. The FA would certainly grant him a permit and the Home Office would have to break from their standard procedure to specifically intervene in this case (unlikely) rather than just follow their standard visa criteria as they will have done for his non-visit last season.

I still doubt whether we're truly interested unless Poch reckons we can work on his character.
