Just seen a headline saying he's off to United. He'll suit Maureen.

I don't believe for one instant we are interested in this balloon - it is much more likely his agent is hawking him about and creating fake interest from various clubs to try and get him a move. I hope he does go to Utd as he is as likely to implode and cause mayhem - they don't strike me as a team with many strong personalities other than instagramming twonks, he will fit in perfectly.

Isn't he represented by Raiola as well?

That's an immediate no go for us as Levy doesn't deal with the Mendes and Raiola super agent types.

He didn't strike me as a Raiola client and transfermarkt says he is not. Interestingly, his agent is 'Just Football'. Some other players they represent are our own Erik Lamela, Angel Correa (athleti), Iheanacho, Marcos LLorente, and Disco Bennie. Interesting this link keeps coming back.

I had read a few articles claiming he was a Raiola client I believe. Could be wrong though.

I wouldn't dismiss the possibility of us signing Aurier outright. At one time he was considered among the best, or at the very least most promising RBs in the world. Yes, he's had issues with attitude and a run-in with the law, but it is possible for people to change. Also, he did happen to save another player's life on the pitch, so he's not completely bad.

I actually don't think we will sign him, but his well-documented problems are also probably the only reason a club like ours has a chance of signing him.

If Pochettino is happy to work with him - and he would obviously speak to the player before any such move was sanctioned - then I would get behind him the same as I would any other player.

He didn't though since you can't swallow your tounge. He might have thought he did something helpfull though, which is good I guess.

We are more likely to sign Messi than we are this clown. Not sure why people even want him considering the cretin that he is.

Not sure why people would want Messi, given his past criminal activity to be honest.
I thought he was still unable to get a visa in this country due the assault conviction. He wasn't able to play against Arsenal in the Champs League last time.

Apparently appealing the conviction.

Messi? I was making a sarcastic comment about his tax fraud charges - suppose it's open to debate over what's more serious: elbowing a police officer outside a nightclub, or tax fraud worth 2.4m euros.

I believe another poster addressed the issue of the visa, I'm not too sure myself. I'm not even convinced I would like to sign him regardless, just think it's a bit too easy to dismiss someone on the basis of attitude, when all we have is third party reports and testament.

And you know, the live stream he did where he said that his coach at the time was a faggot and other delightful things.

Bit of a difference between being badly advised on his taxes and assaulting a police officer. Also I don't remember Messi suggesting his manager was Gay.

Elbowing a police officer

AND Referring to your manager using a homophobic slur

AND Saying your manager is having sexual relations with a player

AND Insulting multiple players on your own team calling them shit etc.

Yeah I'll pass on that and I'd prefer the tax fraud guy.
