Sergio Reguilon is set to return to Tottenham in the summer with the club facing even more difficulty in securing a top-tier fee. The Spanish left-back, 26, has spent the season on loan at Atletico Madrid after being deemed surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte.

But Reguilon has endured a wretched campaign in which injury and poor form has reduced him to just five appearances and 98 minutes of first-team action.

I suspect he is coming back, considering it was reported there was no buy option!

Such a shame his loan didn't work out with his big injury. I still think he's better than Sessegnon, was so excited when we signed him and Bale.

Sessegnon isn't getting any more assertive and Perisic is only really effective from set pieces. Don't know how well Udogie will adapt. Wouldn't be the worst thing in the World to have Reggie back.

I wonder if Sessegnon needs another season on loan instead?

Bring back Reguilon, bring in Udogie and push Perisic as a forward option for one season.

Cant be any worse than what we've got right now. Sessesgnon can run and defend well but is injured and has zero presence of confidence.

Perisic can put in a ball and...that's it.
