Sneijder has turned down Inter apparently. Wants to stay at Madrid.

Serie A starts today. Cant wait for the Milan game tonight

Yeah those seem to be the reports coming out of Spain but i'm not sure if Sneijder has made his decision yet. I'm looking forward to the Inter game tomorrow night but will watch the Milan game tonight. Great to see Nesta finally back to fitness, looking forward to seeing how Thiago Silva get's on as well.

Good win for a first game of the season. I thought Pato was excellent tonight. Ronaldinho, although not up to full speed, looks very effective in behind the strikers. Cant wait until Huntelaar joins Pato up front. I think those 3 will be great for Milan. and it was good to see Flamini in the starting lineup. He's an important part of the Milan midfield. He did great for the 2nd goal too. So far so good. Cant wait for the derby next week.

Inter drew at home to newly promoted Bari. Eto'o missed a few chances but I think Inter really need someone like Sneijder. There midfield is missing creativity

Muntari was hauled off before HT and Quaresma was crap. I don't know how many more chances Mourinho will give Quaresma. Motta had a good debut. Stankovic was poor as well and your right Def, they definately need Sneijder. Rivas could have actually won it for Bari with 2 mins to go. Next week im expecting a much better performance against Milan but i reckon that will be a draw

Yea Rivas had a great chance, can't believe he skied it over the bar. I think Milito and Eto'o has the potential to be a great partnership but I really think their midfield isn't looking too good right now. Certainly don't think they will get further than the 1/4 finals in the CL unless they bolster, on paper Juve's team/squad looks a bit better to me. Not sure how Ferrara will do though. Should be interesting. Napoli and Roma both lost.

I can't wait for next weeks big games!

I was surprised to see Viera start considering Inter seemed prepared to let him go. Anyway he seemed well of the pace, he would struggle in a 4 man midfield back in the epl.

maybe zlatan was their talisman after all?

i can't see anything but an ac milan victory next week, they are playing 'at home' and it was smart by leonardo to bring huntelaar slowly in since he's not known with milan's tactics yet. something that will hinder inter like today with so many new players. mourinho will have to figure out his best starting line-up and formation while leonardo's men have played together for years with great success and the 'new' trio of pato, ronaldinho and huntelaar are good enough on paper to bring back that success.

Huntelaar was suspended for the Siena game but I would expect him to take the place of Boriello and cause Inter a lot of problems

if i was leonardo i will bring him in somewhere in the second half for boriello, he still needs to adapt to milan while he's also behind with training, mainly because he had to train on his own at madrid and they've started later also.

sure he has scored already against inter for ajax in the champions league, but that's no guarantee for the upcoming game and will do him and milan no good when he gets crippled by materazzi in this intense derby.

Milan have got a great chance on the scudetto this year, don`t think Inter are strong enuff...Milan or Juve for me.

I would start Huntelaar next week. Boriello looks very unfit to me. Either that or start Inzaghi. But i think Huntelaar is the sort of player who will score on his debut in a big game like the Milan derby.

Thiago Silva looked very good on his Serie A debut. If Inter stand any chance next week then Vieira and Quaresma shouldn't be in the starting XI and i would move Zanetti into midifeld and play Chivu or Santon at LB.

interista's want cassano instead of sneijder, they feel sneijder has insulted them by not having moved already.

Cassano said in the Italian press last week that Lippi and Mourinho could agree on one thing, they both hate him.

Seriously? One poor result and people are righting off Inter already? I can't see Milan getting close to them this season, they just haven't improved enough of their weaknesses (ageing defence and midfield, weak keeper, lack of pace) and have lost by far their best player. Sure they have added a goalscorer which was needed but other than that they are the same Milan that has faltered for the last few years. Unless Pirlo pulls something incredible out of the bag this season leading into the world cup then I don't see them being a threat.

Juve have improved and bought wisely (Diego, Melo and Cannavaro) but they still have an unproven coach and they weren't all that convincing.

I'm sure once Eto'o and Milito settle they will be too much for most teams. Inter are still the strongest and most physical team and they get great width from their fullbacks which gives them something different. Yes they need another midfielder with Cambiasso out, but they are still undoubted favourites in my eyes.
