Very good game so far, started way too open and Juve capitalised, whilst Napoli wasted their early half chances, but Napoli gradually started to turn the press screw and Juve haven't been out of their half for about 15 minutes.

When this Napoli side get pressing, it's a sight to behold, they swarm with a real ferocity.

Biggy tonight fellas, Napoli v Juve.
Shoulda known you would be here enjoying this game with some fava beans and nice chianti. Was it worth it? I planned on watching but Spurs have me so down I can't bring myself to watch footie. Haven't even listened to any podcasts in 2 weeks.

What could have been a perfect, total tactical stalemate of rigorous high press, possession verses sublime deep pragmatic fortitude with a tasteful soupçon of attacking verve from each, was thoroughly ruined by an ugly outbreak of openness in the first fifteen minutes of the game from which Juve had the bad taste to score in.

Thankfully the rest of the game went pretty much to plan, with Napoli pressing everything that moved to no avail and Juventus shelling the life out of everything that didn't, just because they could.

Took me a while to get to the 2nd paragraph because I laughed so hard at the first.

Can't disagree with that.

My summary of the match: Fuck Napoli. Forza Juve. :D

Just watching the Benevento v Milan game. Milan down to ten men, hanging on for dear life as Benevento try to get their first point of the season. But what strikes me most is the feel of this venue and game. It’s a real old school Italian stadium with the wonderful hill scape views over the top of the ground. It could be a game from the eighties.

Incredible, the Benevento keeper has just equalised!

Serious problems at Milan. Inter top the table for now. Funny how in the summer it was AC Milan that were spending like crazy and looking to make a statement, and whilst Inter did spend a fair amount, they didn't do it to the degree that AC did, nor was there as much talk in the media about how they were going to challenge Juve and Napoli. Inter, meanwhile, have made some good progress and snuck in there. Certainly puts the cat amongst the pigeons. It'll be interesting to see whether they keep it up.

Serie A is fascinating this year and my favourite league to watch right now. Apart from the ding dong at the top, there's interesting stories all through the league. Atlanta are impressing me, despite losing some good players, Samp good again, and even Genoa down the bottom with Taraabt and Veloso.

Atalanta have been excellent the past couple of years. The mini-leagues are starting to form now. Roma and Lazio fighting for the 4th spot is a good one. Samp with a few good weeks can sneak in there but are generally holding the "best of the rest" spot, and with a few bad weeks could end up with a handful of clubs on their arse.

Juve v Inter tonight. Should be a good game. Who you got? Will be splitting time with the Valencia-Celta game but pulling for Inter to make the league interesting. Hope it's not a @Bus-Conductor classic.

Got this one recorded to watch later. Hope inter can get a result just because I fear after last week, if Juve win again it will be ominous for Serie A, and I’d like to see anyone but Juve win it.

Bit random, but if you can find it, get a look at Luis Alberto’s opener for Lazio away at Spal, thing of absolute beauty.

I'm not sure that I want to go down the path and discuss that VAR moment. A total disaster. It was technically offside (IMO), but if it takes four minutes then it's not a clear and obvious error. VAR at the World Cup is going to create a few moments like this.
