I have been reading that many on here that many think we dodged a bullet with this one due his supposed bad attitude and lack of work ethic. I think in the end it simply came down to wages.
Personally like a bit of genius however flawed and I think this lad could have been one of those for us.
Berbatov never really tracked back, VDV lacked pace and faded after an hour. Still would like this kind of player again in a heartbeat.
I cringe at the idea of a team recruited on stats with 11 iterations of Jordan Henderson.
Now he will either fail and prove doubters right or he will be out of our price range and go to a title winning team.
Sigh. Move on.

Every winning team has its fair share of arseholes. We don't have any. We are too nice, too soft.
Do you think we'd have a chance of signing Jack Wilshire??Every winning team has its fair share of arseholes. We don't have any. We are too nice, too soft.
If we got to know some of our players, I'm sure some of them would be arseholes.

Roy Keane, Patrcik Vieira and John Terry would scare the shit out of our little boys.
Yet we consistantly finish in the top five?i really hope we are signing someone decent that we don't know about but this is typical spurs transfer window so far, teams improving while we falter behind
