at the end of the day i think we got the right man in to do the job but what i have got the hump about is the comments made by seville about us fans.

I think he may be referring to our behaviour in his stadium last season and, if he is, I don't even know where to start.... How about, get stewards to officiate a football match, not armed police!

we'd be sour too to be fair.

he's got a right to be pissed off but lumping us fans with the boards actions is out of line.

"Here in Spain, we're not used to treachery existing between clubs. Nowhere in European football has something like this happened before with the season under way."

Really? So players don't plan moves to Madrid and Barca well in advance? Real don't tap up managers and players?

I am glad we are taking tough decisions and fucking a few people off in the process, it's about time people stopped considering us soft and realised that we will crush them if they get in our way. Every successful club has fucked over others to get there.

correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't some spanish club(s) offer win bonuses to other teams to beat their rivals last season?

No, he's asking us to reflect on the board's behaviour.

Apparently there is nothing Seville can do because there are no regulations in place with regard to employees,Ramos was a coach not a manager!

He's dead right of course, there's not an ounce of controversy in the history of the Barca/Real rivalry, and absolutely nothing involving Francisco Franco. Spanish football is squeaky. SQUEAKY! :snooty:

Apparently Barcelona offered alot of money to Mallorca as a prize if they snatch a draw from Real Madrid in the final gameweek and therefore allow Barcelona to be crowned champions of La Liga. Didn't happen

This is just blatant bitterness with the fact that they have lost a very good manager and coach to a team that they would regard are lesser than Seville. And to be perfectly honest I can't blame him, the truth is Seville are better than Spurs at the moment but not for long.
He's just ranting because he can't do anything else. £60m for Alves and Kanoute?!!??? Fine, we'll find some other players OR get rid of Bent who is a pile of old tosh (probably won't be able to raise the £16m we paid for him but anything will be better than nothing) and add that to the bid.
In fairness, I think it would be pretty lazy to just take players from Seville. i know they will already know Ramos and I know they are good players but come on, there must be others out there who are equally as good?

thanks for info Partizan :) I was amazed when I heard that story, and thought that can't be possible/allowed surely. So presumably there was no truth in the story, strange one to make up though.

The way our board has behaved in relation to player transfers etc in the last god knows how many years has been disgusting and sometimes I feel ashamed to support OUR great club with these scum bags running us

Seville' chairman and supporters have every right to be pissed off, wouldn't we if it was the other way round?

Weren't the Spurs faithful spitting blood when Chavski nicked Arnescum?

Fact is, this happens in football all the time, never nice when your on the end of it, and I never like when we do it to others because I remember how it feels when it gets done to us, but that's football and its dog eat dog.

Absolutely zero chance any Sevilla player will come to us. Not with "diluted" budgets, those escape clause fees and an enraged del Nido. Also the small pesky fact probably none of them fancy a move here anyway.
