I like this line from the article:
"Pochettino on the other hand has shown his time with the Saints was no fluke as he has helped transform Spurs into one of top teams in the world.":)

If we swap him for Rose thats me finished. Shaw isn't fit, got crocked last season. How the fuck can we be considered as progressing as a club when we are swapping an England international for a player who can't even get into their own club side.

Ha, bet he does. His time at Man Utd has been a nightmare, largely due to the injury.

He desperately needs out of UTD, he's not getting the chance to prove if he's fit and how the injury may have affected him. I'd take him as I think he'd put his heart and soul into the club for Poch but not for Rose, he has a 1 year option that UTD can activate which they will, be interesting to see how much he goes for, you can be sure there'll be a premium if we go for him.

Haven't we already got four fullbacks (Davies, Trippier, Rose, Aurier)and a Belgian international who can play that position and a yoot KWP.

Not good enough for Man.Utd not good enough for Spurs.

If (and it's a big if) Danny Rose moves on, there are 2 directions we could go. Backwards with Shaw or forwards with Sessegnon. I know what my money would be on.

Hmm, could we keep Rose AND have Shaw, with Davies as CB/LB cover too?

Playing 3 at the back means we probably need 5 CBs in the squad; Verts, Toby, Sanchez, Foyth and Davies

Agree, although given how well Davies has done (not just this season but also 2nd half of last season), I think Rose will have to work very hard to get back in to the team.

But I'm a massive fan of Rose, one of our most under-rated players (along with Lamela) and often makes a difference not just to defence but also attack

I think Davies is better defensively and Rose is better going forward. Shaw isn't as good as either of them in either situation.

Exactly this. No thanks. If one of ours were to go, then maybe as a back-up, if we sign him on a free.

Of course he said that, he's desperate to get out. He came on for the last 10 mins of a league cup game. He's so unfit at the moment, he makes Andy Reid look positively slim.

Ha ha got to love the way the media works, maybe they’d be interested in swapping Harry Kane for Ashley Young at the same time

Im not sure rose is better gong forward tbh. Davies has had some beautiful assists and a couple of goals recently that has me thinking. Rose rarely scores.

Blimey, love to be a fly on the wall at his next appointment with José. Maybe there will never be one

I was quite keen on this around the iffy Rose comment time, but on reflection, and with Rose back and Davies' form, I’m not so sure. His injury record is so bad now, it would be an insanely high risk bet for the amount of money they’d inevitably try and value him at

I bet Shaw wants to play for Poch. Is this him just trying to make sure Utd let him go somewhere, anywhere?

If we were to sell Rose to Maureen, I wouldn't 40mil pounds plus Shaw. That should be cash enough for Sessegnon with a bit of leftover for other uses. Let's see if Poch can rejuvenate Shaw's career. Even if he cannot re-attain his former standard, at least he should improve enough for us to sell at over 10 million pounds when Sessegnon is the automatic first choice in a year or two.
