Starting on the right of a front 3 against my team Adelaide.

He’ll score 10.

Edit: game has just started and he seems to be playing as a #10

Didn’t even realise he’d gone there.

I watched ten minutes of it and I’m not sure the standard is even League 2 level. Very poor.

I haven't seen any of this game, so I can't speak for it, but people who have played in both countries say it's about the equivalent of Upper League 1, lower Championship, except that it's played in the Australian summer, so it's a lot more draining physically.

I find watching the A-League very frustrating.

Nothing is as good as it should be. Anyone with a bit of promise seems to leave as soon as they can and the replacements from overseas are there for a working holiday. Refs are crap, too.

Really surprised with this move.

Thought he had a decent game, some nice link up/hold up play and decent distribution. Worked hard defensively too. Was fouled a fair bit.

He had a great chance to score a volley from about 16 yards out, but put it just over.

The commentators and pundits praised his debut performance, saying it was “fantastic” and “excellent”

they interviewed the Melbourne City coach post match, and asked about how the club were able to get Shayon.

The manager said he was speaking to John McDermott before the close of the window and they talked about Shayon and where he is with his game, and he was keen on the loan move when it was offered to him.

'Ah, Melbourne? I love Masterchef Aus and Neighbours. Count me in!'

Started away to Newcastle Jets this morning. Game is 35 minutes in, Melbourne City are 1-0 down. I've just tuned in on Bet365.

Harrison subbed a few minutes before Melbourne City got an equaliser. They've looked a lot better since he went off. A pretty anonymous performance unfortunately.
Shayon Harrison is still out there, Melbourne subbed off Harrison Delbridge earlier.

I just noticed this and deleted my post :ROFLMAO:. I had the game on the Bet365 small screen and saw Flashscore said he went off. Still looked a pretty anonymous performance from him... aaaand he's just gone off now.

Just put it in for the last 20 mins and he's not on, I guess he been subbed off? Did he have a good game?

Commentators mentioned he had some good close control.

The game itself was an odd one. Victory down to ten after 15 mins, went behind but equalised in the second half. Harrison was replaced with 20 mins to go. The manager made 3 subs in ten mins trying to push on. Finished 1-1.
