Absolute fucking clown. How can anyone with any understanding of football whatsoever start Holtby and Eriksen in the middle in a flat four man midfield.

I just cant for the life of me get how someone who has been associated with football could be so stupid. To think someone capable of that lineup when Capoue is on the bench is disgraceful. What has Levy done putting this chancer in charge.

Mid table finish for us, this clown gets sacked in the summer and half of our extremely talented squad will be demanding to leave. Shambles.

So Sherwood has now played a home game against a low side lacking in confidence that would have come to defend. Picked an uber attacking line up and...

We still couldn't create fuck all that didn't end in a percentage cross.

We'll be fine this season, Man U have a new manager, as do Chelski, City & Everton. Arse and Pool are shit and we've spent £100m on top quality, this season is our chance to win the league......

Hang on........................

Think we need to re-wind 3 seasons and try again because this isn't progression

Chelsea got Benitez as a caretaker - we could at least have got an actual manager, with experience, all the cub scout badges, and a reasonable track record to sign on, explicitly for a few months till the world cup. It's not even a little bit credible there was no one out there. Neil Magwitch Warnock was out there.

Tim needs to sort it out and fast. He's got my support though, and I really can't understand the calls for him to go. We need to give him a chance now and calling for his head already is pretty laughable to be honest.

It'll be a steep learning curve for him, but I hope he understands what mistakes he might have made and how to improve the team because fortunately the league is wide open this year and with half the season to go we can make top 4, despite what some of you doom-mongers say. ;)

COYS.

Should never of been IN should he
There is something to this. Likely a calculated risk by DL this. Not sure DL is prepared for as much of the blowback to land on him this time, and it will, if it goes tits up but Tim is on a hiding to nothing here and gave Daniel "the Axe" Levy a chance to elbow another manager aside.

But a chairman of a club seriously looking to establish it in the top 4 does not jettison a manager in the middle of a season and appoint a complete novice to take over. That is all on DL. Tim will get a lot of the shit but to be in this position in the first place requires the higher ups to have fucked up beforehand.

Tim understandably jumped at the chance and will get slaughtered if it doesn't work but not this time, Daniel. This time some of the shit is going to stick to you as well. I don't blame Tim Sherwood for being our manager, and despite never taking to him as an individual, wish him every success with us and hope he can turn things around and pointing in the right direction again quickly. No, I blame DL. He'd better be praying hard because the fallout from this going bad could be epic.

Great to watch either way tbh.

I'll reserve judgement until after the Man U game, think that's fair. Was quite optimistic we'd shit on WBA but by all accounts we were just as impotent at the lane today as we were under AVB, and more open at the back, which is concerning.

the witch-hunting on Tim by our own fans is terribly awful... he started only 2 PL games, yet to lose, played our summer signings, played with 2 upfront and not yet lose a game and there were names and sticks called/threw at him... although he did not play with a DM, the fact is we did not lose from conceding too many a thrashing!

how can we doubt anyone who professed himself a man bleeding the club we love most? even if anyone took that as a PR stunt to win over Levy (although he said that after being appointed), unless he was shown outside The Emirates Stadium joking with some scums wankers, I really think we should give him some time..

All the same slow impotence and lack of quick incisive play in the final third.

None of the composure or controlled possession (but you need a midfield to do that)

Just a random chasing of a ball around a park.

Run around a bit, springs to mind...

I would be more willing to give him time if he even deserved the chance to manage our club.

He has achieved nothing in management to be given a team that is struggling to find it's form in one of the most difficult leagues in the world.

I would for the sake of the club I love for Tim to prove me wrong but I just can't see how he's going to do it if the early signs are any indicator of how he wants us to play.

WTF you guys are talking about

Under AVB, we lost points at home against West Brom (D) , Norwich (D) , Wigan (L) , Fulham (L) , West Ham (L 0-3!!) , Newcastle (L) & even the likes of Sheriff or Hull, we won by 1 goal difference. That's why we couldn't match Chelsea or Arsenal last season in goal difference, and it could be the same fucking problem this season, he left us with -6 !!

although i'm not impressed with no defensive Mid. under Sherwood, but can you blame him since Capoue losing possession several times with poor short passes. At least we are playing very positive at home, specially compared to those games which i stated under AVB.

at least, TS is playing without Vertonghen, Kaboul, Sandro, Dembele, Paulinho, Townsend & Lennon.. specially the first two are very important, considering to the fact they are out of form this all season. Chirchies is reasonable for both Saints goals and West Brom too. The lad isn't Center back, I would place him in SW, RB or DM or RM or FC but never as CB. Never.
