Sherwood has gone but that doesn't mean the discussion should stop. If Poch doesn't do as well as Sherwood does there will be plenty of points to discuss and questions asked. Least of which will be why a coach who got us 6th place was sacked and why someone was brought in who hasn't done any better?

It is not correct to say that Sherwood got us to 6th position He finished off work started by AVB. Who knows where he would have got the team to had he been in charge at the beginning of the season

Yes it is because he was in charge, it would have been possible to go much lower than 6th during his reign. If that had happened he would've certainly been blamed for it, so it is only fair that he takes some credit for a 6th place finish.

Well, as Ade was playing over the Bearded Wonder's dead body, it's not unreasonable to suggest that if Sherwood hadn't stepped in we would have been at least 11 goals light of what we finished with, and slugging it out for 10th or 11th.
