Tim Sherwood (ex Spurs caretaker): "#mufc coach Louis van Gaal will struggle to adapt to the Premier League."

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Could be, talked to Dutch guy who was bit skeptical about LVG on ManU too. I mean this millenium outside Holland he has managed to get Barcelona to relegation zone and while he won at Bayern (like every other manager, Magath did it twice) he also managed to get Bayern 4th before getting fired. I mean you have to be sort of magician to get Barca to relegation zone and Bayern as 4th.

lol! Why is it all these Tim lovers hate LVG so much? No matter how much whoring for a PL gig LVG kept doing, the Tottenham job was never Tim's to lose anyway. Its not his fault Tim was never good enough for the job.

Something disturbing inside me wants this thread to get to 1000 pages. Almost proves to me how much of an opinionated community we have here - not that I really need reminding.

Tim Sherwood's tips to success at the top.

Step 1: Only pick players you "know".
Step 2: The gillet is king.
Step 3: Slagging of players is better than coaching them.
Step 4: Buy Aaron Lennon. Bruv has bare speed init.
Step 5: Pick any youth team player. Play him relentlessly until you are heralded for pioneering young talent by the media.
Step 6: Never pick him again for an unexplained reason.
Step 7: If people didnt want your opinion on everything they wouldnt put a microphone in your face so give them what they want, regardless of how uniformed you are on the topic.

You've forgotten Step 8: Stick a knife in your superior's back
Step 9: Tell the owner you can do better
Step 10: Any failure is because all 30 players in the squad a much of a muchness ans you can't even
see any difference even in the goalie.

No to the saints guy, cant speak English

Command of English should be non negotiable
Well, why don't you learn to write English correctly first? Moyes doesn't speak Spanish fluently, but that doesn't seem to be a problem for Real Sociedad. Pochettino speaks functional English to the media, some of whom can't speak English properly either.

Bloody hell! There are 904 pages. I didn't notice that, but I blame the Tories and their miserly supporters in the south-east of England for this outpouring of emotion.

Did you like randomly search for this thread, then click the arrow until it landed on pages in the 500s (not an easy task, I clicked it continuously for like a minute and it was still on 800-and-something) and randomly click a page, read it, scoff in disgust and reply to it after a year?

I have no idea how this happened as I thought today's match thread had gone to 904 pages! I clicked one of the quoted pages. The thing was that someone called Pochettino an Argie, which was pretty derogatory. Anyway, the Election was very upsetting and I've been needing to vent.

You just made me really curious as to how you ended up on that page.

There must be a wormhole in Spurscommunity and I just breeched the space-time continuum. At least, that's what they say in sci-fi movies, and they are full of facts. In other words, I haven't a bloody clue how it happened!

What's was wrong with calling him a Argie?

I think it's fairly derogatory. Can you imagine introducing Villa or Ardiles as Argies? Do you think they may be offended?

I think people can be overly sensitive to things that people say with absolute zero malice, meaning that people who are by no means discriminative get labelled unfairly by people who think it's reasonable to call others out because they are upset that we won't have to suffer a government that will give us all the illusion we are living the great british dream, where everyone is spending money that doesn't actually exist.

Reading that felt like using the gradient tool in Photoshop to make rainbows.
