Did anyone watch TS on the the Sunday morning Sky prog today? I didn't feel as much antipathy towards him as before, but I have to say that Sky didn't exactly give him a hard time. Jason Burt tweeted that he had talked himself out of the job. Sherwood also said that he would have done the same as before, although he did say that in hindsight he wouldn't have taken the job. This begs the question how anyone cannot have learnt from their past experience. Maybe he had been coached on being more humble, but he says he's not an actor (too much, methinks).
I hope someone puts in a horrible tackle on Wilshere.

I wonder how many Sherwood fans will pick up Saints T-Shirts if this ever happens... you know like a secondary support team type of thing...

It is ok watching him as a pundit because it confirms just what a plonker he is. I cannot fathom why anybody would want him as a manager but at least he is not our problem anymore. God help whoever takes him on

Is there not a ruling that u have to have ur badges or some level of qualification to manage in league, from memory this has arisen before but may be done away with?

Seeing all those apes jumping up and down in joy at the Goons finally winning something just makes me hate Sherwood for the two cup exits, in particular the no-show against them in the FA Cup.

He was sacked - you got what you wanted CrazyHeart, you gotta let it go now mate. Yes, people were at loggerheads over it all but it's healing time and getting behind the new guy now.

I don't think he did a bad job and even his critics have to admit it wasn't the easiest task in the world. Where he fell down was in handling the media. You wouldn't see Ferguson giving an interview saying his players didn't have the character required. No doubt behind closed doors the hair dryer was used but again today he was taking a pop at the players. I hope he gets another chance and reckon he'll do all right but our new manager will need to handle the media better.

What a depressing season!! AVB, sherwood, players under performing, Scum winning a trophy and getting champs league. 12 months ago we thought that would be us. I can't see pochettino getting us where we want to be...

The difference between the Sherwood supporters and haters is that the supporters move on, forget about Tim, and support the next guy, while the haters keep on hating. So no, we won't be buying Saints T-shirts, and neither will we be gnashing our teeth at past cup exits. Let it go. Move on. You guys are a bit mental, and not in a good way.

Oh dear, you took my comment seriously when its content was about the the way the Goons were celebrating and then decided to write a po-faced, self-righteous response. Deary, deary me! You see, the problems with you Sherwood supporters is that you can never stop defending the indefensible. The rest of us have moved on as has your hero, who I did compliment in an earlier post. When the next guy comes in, we'll support him.

How do you know my face was po? I'll have you know my post was condescending and not po-faced or self-righteous. (And supporting your team's manager isn't the same as hero-worship, but you knew that, hey? ;) ).
