“I’ve had to keep my discipline, I suppose, and my dignity, pride and just get on with the job."

You haven't kept any of those Tim.

As for tryna get other people's jobs, how exactly did you get yours!?

He needs to shut up now whatever anyone else does or says, just have a low profile and maybe some dignity would come back then.

He does love himself. Every week he talks too the media about himself like he is some god. I think he will do well in the championship too start off were the media is not too harsh on managers.

I have to say that I am slightly baffled by the hatred of Tim.

If you ask me (and the stats book) he's actually done quite a decent job since he took over. While I'd prefer to have a proven manager with the potential to retain key players and attract ambitious, high-quality players to Tottenham, I wish him the very best of luck for the future - I think he could turn out to be quite an effective manager.

Really? You're baffled?

Nothing he's done since he became our manager has suggested to you why he might be a little unpopular. Nothing?

Yeah, well I guess that's the point. Many of the posts on here suggest that he is more than "a little unpopular". I didn't say that he was beyond criticism, I said that I was baffled by the apparent hatred.

To be fair to him he's got a point about Getting the same number of points while no longer having Bale.
He's not done that bad a job with what he has to work with. It's the humiliating capitulations against anyone above us that will cost him his job.
Anyone who goes to watch us knows we have been dreadful to watch from day one of the season.

I do not like Tim Sherwood because of stories I have heard about him while he played for us, while I do no think his failures in his tenure have been all his own. Tim has not been supported as manager by the club or the fans. Spur's have not been built for success by Levy and Co. The infrastructure at Spurs does not seem to exist, we have next to no scouting network, no coach training program, a very young youth system and constantly changing back room staff.

We also seem to have a constantly changing support staff where we lose any of our quality ground and medical staff. Then the final mistake that Spurs do is the worst in my eyes and it's the fact that we fail to get the fans involved at all, the board treat us more like cash points than people who should be valued by the club. I have been to several of the American Sports in the last few months and they try to do everything to get the fans involved, so do the German football clubs.

Is the job really his? Does he know something about next season we don't know?

You think Sherwood's getting the job?

:ROFLMAO:

He already has it. Just where have you been this last half season? Two more wins and he equals a record points haul. Go figure.

The board are more than happy with him at this point in time.

Oh yeah. What happened to the last guy who held that record?

Turns out Tim isn't the only one on this planet who thinks he's got the job next season. There's now 2..

The only ones who think he should be manager sit on the board. What you, I, or Uncle Tom Cobberly think is irrelevant.

Well, you can be the one to tell Tom that.

As for the board, I really, really don't think they'll be leaving him in charge..

After the 3rd defeat to arsenal, ending our season in mid-March, I think Levy is entitled to have a good look round this summer to see who is available.

But if no-one wants to come who is proven, and it is looking more and more like that, then based on the team's overall results and performances, there is a case for letting Sherwood have another season. Sorry about that, but he is a genuine candidate.
