I know that we (the board) have done ourselves no favours over the last few months but enough is enough. This spurs witch hunt has got to the stage where it is so obvious and widespread that it is nothing short of disgraceful.

We (the fans) have done nothing and yet it is us who suffers. We have to put up with spurs/berbatov/ramos-cam/watch in every paper and on every channel. This mornings papers were full not with our victor or Bolton's magnificent effort in Munich, but with how Berbo wants to leave.

The coverage on channel 5, apart from being very poor, was a disgrace. What does Pat Nevin actually know about football? He is a mug.

As for Robson, he is a gooner, he is never going to give us a fair crack of the whip, so he is forgiven.

I say that we ht them where it hurts, in the pocket. If of all the fans, from our tiny, insignificant, failing, rubbish, but who take up more column inches than any other team in the country and have done for years, little club just didn't buy this shit maybe they would leave us alone?

I don't read the papers and haven't done for over 10 years, I used to read the Mirror and Harry Harris's relentless persecution of our club made me stop reading that and all other papers, so it is easy for me to say, but I really believe that we need to take action and that is a good place to start.

It's us against the world.

Fuck 'em!

But then I wouldn't be able to read Clarksons column and Ally Ross' tv column which is always a giggle.

I never buy a red top tabloid paper any more.

I only buy The Times three or four times a week, especially Sats for the Jumbo crossword which is a doozie - the rest I get from the net as and when I feel like it.

Mind you - Life is tough without a read while drowning puppies

I think the clubs should stop fearing the press. They know that if they push legal action for the blatant lies that they will be on the Press shit list and bad publicity could lead to even more dirt digging.

Sue the crap out of them every time they lie is what I say.

I mean the press have caused a lot of people on here to demand Berba leave! It even got to his family!

Pleat tried it before where he started calling out every inaccurate press release. It only lasted a few months because the backlash was strong.

C5 was poor, even at the end......"ramos has to walk past the supporters, will he get stick" what the f*ck!.
Papers, well they got on scumballs case till we were glad to see the end of it, Jol they woudn't let drop, berby will be the one they run with unless or until ramos loses a game, On the bright side they are not on defoes case, well not at the moment.

I dont listen to what the papers say its bollox most of the time. Unless I hear confirmation from the club, player or another respectable source I just take it all with a pinch of salt.

I didn't realise anyone actually reads the shite the tabloids dream up anyway.

Best avoided, mate.

and anyway, they'll get very bored of the spurs story soon and they will then move on to ruining the lives of some other poor bunch of fans.

What they actually said was, 'Luzon has to walk past the supporters, will he get stick?'

What would this achieve? They would not be hurt financially, they would continue to write and non spur supporters would still read, so again, what would this achieve?

Everyone should stop buying newspapers and find other ways of getting their information. The newspapers deliberately feed us rubbish to try to keep us all stupid and diverted.

But why change the habit of a lifetime when you can give in, read the same comfortable trash, not have to think and believe lies?

I don't believe anything they say and haven't done for ages, it's hard for honest people like us to actually grasp that these hacks just tell bare faced lies, but they do.

I'm not sure about all the papers on a vendetta against us, One yes two maybe but not all however, they are lazy buggers so they don't really want to work hard if they can help it and quite honestly we are the easiest target at the moment.
Chelsea came close earlier in the season but Grant seems to have them winning now so no mileage there, they got a sniff at Benitez last week but 8-0 snuffed that out, Man utd have come good again and they never attack arsenal anyway so we are the biggest club left.
Quite simply they are sharks and they are still smelling blood around our club.
They will be hoping to God that we don't turn it around and start climbing the league or having cup success.

They don't hate us because we're earning their Cristmas bonus for them but they will hate us when we come good.

The one about the kerb and the leather mini-skirted tart in Luton was his downfall.

There are probably 250000 "real" spurs fans in London alone, that is not counting the "casual" fans that probably number alot more than that. That would hurt any paper!

Didn't that survey say we had 5 million fans world wide? Or was it 1 million? Either way the world is full of yids!

Scum hacks should be lined up and shot!

If we stopped buying newspapers no doubt they would adopt the WWII tactics of dropping propaganda leaflets from the air.

Don't forget, we are the enemy. Time to rally the troops, go over the top, onward on our pursuit of victory after victory on our way to world domination.

Or just three points against Wigan.

Nice idea but would never make an impact anyway. Newspaper sales fluctuate up/down on a daily basis by more than the amount of Spurs fans in London whether they be 250k or 500k.
It would hvae a small insignificant effect and probably would only boost their sales when they report how Spurs fans are boycotting their papers.

Unfortunately you still have some belief in journalism  Now if any lazy scumbag journalist happens to come across this thread he will probably report that Spurs fans are boycotting their papers and they will make more money anyway :bang:
