Alternatively we could sell Capoue, not buy Thudd, and put the money into the forward kitty.

No. People seem to have forgotten Capoue put in some MOM performances earlier in the season. His dip in form has in some respects been worsened by the introduction of Mason who gets forward much more.

One of our better performers in the start of the season. A few mediocre displays later, and he's obviously worthless and should be sold.

Along with all other players that hit a rough patch.

I'm still fuming after we didn't sell Lloris after he had a rather poor spell in the games after Lukaku knocked him out.

No we shouldn't. However given his current form I would advocate dropping him in favour of Stambouli for PL games, on merit Stambouli has been performing better when compared like for like with Capoue. I would not rush to sell Capoue but like others he needs to be dropped and he needs prove he why should get back into the PL team selection and he should only get back on merit or in the even of injuries. He can do this by upping his game when playing in Europa and/orLeague cup games.

Hardly a star, slow and lumbering with a worse pass than Thudd. I want runners in the midfield tbh.

I love the Hudd - hope he has another cracking game.(but this time is on the losing side).

For all the dreadful football and unplesantness, I think I hate AVB the most for selling Huddlestone

Both slow the tempo down far too much for the high energy pressing game. I actually think Sandro was a better fit for Poch than Capoue. The only reason I could see to sell him was his ACL injury which took a bit out of him. We need a defensive midfielder who tracks runs from attacking midfielders and gets the ball moving quickly.

Comparing Capoue to Lloris? Really?

Capoue can't go quickly enough.

Why would either of them want to be here to take abuse from our fans every game?

Couldn't agree with this any more. Though when I think about it, someone like Thudd would probably work really well with Capoue in the middle of the park. Capoue would have a better outlet and we all know that Thudd's play on the ball is brilliant for transitions. I guess we'll never know though.

Should SC members stop reading HITC blogs, and start reading freelance writers with more credability from the likes of National Enquirer and TMZ?
