Should Spurs sell £8.5m star Capoue and re-sign fan favourite Huddlestone?

Should SC members stop reading HITC blogs, and start reading freelance writers with more credability from the likes of National Enquirer and TMZ?

If you can find some Spurs related ones feel free to post them.

No. People seem to have forgotten Capoue put in some MOM performances earlier in the season. His dip in form has in some respects been worsened by the introduction of Mason who gets forward much more.
I agree over the MOTM performances, why he should be worsened by Mason is what I would question though.

It was just an observation. I think he seems more exposed when Mason plays. Mason can be pretty poor defensively at times, almost on a par with Bentaleb.

God no, the last player I want to see again in a Spurs shirt is the plodder.
There is some ability and talent but inconsistent and failed to fulfil his potential, we just hired a new head of recruitment if he were to recommend that we buy back Huddlestone, it would be laughable.

The hype that surrounded him when he first came was never lived up to, one of the most overrated players I have seen in a Spurs shirt.

I'd love us to re sign Hudd, we could do with a playmaker of his quality but I think we should also keep Capoue. A big issue though is playing only two cm's. Though Hudd and Wilson had a great season as a two man central midfield I tend to think getting the right two man pairing would be a major challenge, especially in the current set up where the three advanced mids have no real defensive nous and likewise the full backs. Two players having to handle so much defensive pressure and spray the passes around to give the attack impetus is a big ask. Hudd for example is not the most agile but with the right midfielders alongside him he could really shine, but that would often necessitate a 3 man central midfield and Poch seems stuck on the idea of just a two man midfield
