Dependent on signing a replacement.

I am interested in seeing him play against Newcastle.

I think he has turned the corner in his attitude, played well on Saturday and now seems to be earning the Mangers trust. We shall see.

I still believe Poch could make a player out of him.

He didn't get many chances last season and fucked some of them right up.
But there were moments and contributions from him that have unfortunately been overlooked and forgotten.
He gave United a torrid time at Old Trafford. No one else did. He chipped in with some assists, I thought he was good away to Leicester, was a big part of the 2-0 win at home to City.

He just needs a defined role in the team, some discipline and a better first touch :ROFLMAO:

He's always been a player who goes through surges and collapses of confidence, sometimes lasting months. Last season, he joined late, with inadequate fitness for our style of play, and he never caught up, mentally as much as physically.

If you're not blessed with the first touch of Mousa Dembélé, you need your head to be clear in order to make the best of what skill you have, or all the physical power and pace in the world won't knit you into a team that moves the ball as intricately as we do.

He might leave, he might not. If he doesn't, let's see how he performs when everyone else hasn't got a head-start and he has some familiarity with what his teammates are likely to do.

Playing under a possession-pervert as Pochettino, no player can afford to contribute to the team loosing the ball.
You, like many, are making the odd bad game out to be a 100% reflection of his inability to play.
He showed on many occasions he can use a football positively. He's not alone on the bad game front either.
Our whole team were fucking shite in the league game at Liverpool. I don't even think he played IIRC? No one could retain possession or pass to a team mate.

I am with the old guys on this one, now that he has had a year and a full pre season I do not doubt he will contribute more to the team dynamic. He really looked comfortable in the wide open spaces of Wembley against Juve the other day. COYS
