Maybe doesn't sound much but I think Nkoudou can do a job for us. There's a bit of Lennon about him, if you're a defender you don't want a quick player running at you forcing you to tackle. Sometimes when we keep passing sideways, I'm thinking against Burnley and Swansea, he offers a different way of playing.
I think with a bit of work he could play a wingback roleLooked good in pre season, got injured and I feel that's put him back a bit.
Not sure he works in a 3-4-2-1 though, more suited to a 4-2-3-1
Danny Rose started out as LW. What's to stop GNK making the same transition? Would save us a few pennies and would put pressure on Rose to prove he deserves to come back. With the way Davies is playing, he'll need to do some proving.I think with a bit of work he could play a wingback role
He reminds me a bit of a really young Marcelo. Always thinking about going forward but lacking a bit of bite and nous. All things that can be trained.
