He's a disruptive influence, anyone who tries to break up the harmony of this side, is to a lot of people an arsehole.

Warranted or not it's a point of view and i see nothing wrong in someone expressing an opinion.
Where do you have the evidence that he was trying to break up the harmony of this side? Do you honestly think Pochettino would have allowed him back into the squad if that were the case? As for people having opinions and expressing them, it doesn't mean that these are in any way logical or informed.

lol still cant believe hes our recors signing. fking hilarious. and if his quotes are real, then he can fuck off because he sounds entitled. "oh i was expecting more oh i was expecting more time oh its not my fault oh its not my play"

dude if you were good enough you would play. IF its really like you said, a misunderstanding, then settle it behind the scenes with your damn coach son, not rat about it to the press.

goodbye sissoko. think he burnt his bridges

Does anyone really believe we signed Sissoko and did not have him on a short list of targets? Our scouting has 5-10 players by position that are ranked according to ability, cost and salary.

Our #1 target might not have been available, but Sissoko would have been on that list. He might have been #10 for all we know, but he had attributes that fit the team, the system and the manager's needs.

It has not worked out so far. He is not the only player.

His transfer fee is not as high as has been reported and is only triggered if he played and started a specific amount of games. We will make money on the deal if he is sold on right away.

Would you rather Sissoko come out and say he just wanted to be a squad player, take a pay check and see out his contract before leaving on a free?

Regardless of how you perceive his attitude he was a key member of France's National Team and all his teammates at that level play at high level clubs or in key roles. He probably thinks he belongs on a pedestal but I am sure Kyle Walker thinks the same thing.

I am not a huge fan of Sissoko, but I want him to do well at Spurs. He is not the worst player ever in a Spurs shirt as some would have you believe. Toda, Naylor, Lacy, to name but three were a lot worse.

It's a shame it hasn't worked out. I hate to admit defeat especially with someone who's clearly gifted but if a good offer comes in we probably need to move on.

And you gave serious thought to all this before writing it, I presume? You appear to have assumed that nothing has been lost in translation from the original French and there's hasn't been some journalistic twist.

I don't really understand how anyone could disagree with this? He's our record signing and everyone was baffled by it at the time. This isn't one that turned out badly with hindsight. It was a very weird, expensive signing at the time.

A year on, and he's barely played for us and when he has he's been very poor.

I ask if this transfer isn't farcical, which is?

Perhaps buying Clinton, never playing him , replacing him with Nkoudou, never playing him either push the Sissoko transfer close.

He made just eight starts during Spurs' impressive Premier League campaign.

Typical daily fail.

Read the sly sports (that was auto correct but I like it) version.

Once again, what I want is for everything to be clear. If the manager is no longer counting on me, if he thinks that other players are better, then he should say it.

The idea is to be clear very early to allow, if I need to leave, for my agent to do good work… Even if everyone knows that I prefer England, I have never closed the door to any league.

I fell from a high point this season. Even though I never thought I would play all the games, I was not expecting such a small amount of playing time.

"It was the worst season of my career even though as a team it was certainly the best, so it's weird. We'll talk with my agent to make the best decision. My goal is to go to the 2018 World Cup."

Can't say any fairer than any of that and the fact he wants to play football means he'll either have to play better for us or actively want to leave us. Unlike other deadwood we've accumulated over the years.
