By the way, re the actual video, i'm sure there will be responses from people saying he should concentrate on his game yada yada yada, but there aren't many people who can do that. He so has the potential to be a great great player for us. Hope it happens.

Don't understand why it didn't bounce out of the skip from such a great height and distance. Surely it wouldn't have just plopped and nestled ?

Dubious.

agreed. I think its likely to be fake similar to the old nike advert when Ronaldinhio kicks it against the bar.

whilst i am dubious about this being real, it would depend on what is in the skip

yeah, would depend on whats in the skip.. He's on the top of the Astoria there aint he?? Cos that looks like centre point infront of him... If Red Bull are ivolved, I wouldn't be surprised if its been faked.. Red Bull gives footballs wings.

I was suprised to see how skinny his legs are, I have bigger arms then those twigs he walks around on.

(he generates alot of power when striking a ball though)

It's not impossible, and the quality of the video means i couldn't tell if it went in the skip or not, but the lack of balls all over the place shows that, faked or not, either a) it was one take or b) they had the sense to clear all the other tries out of shot before each take

Would've loved to have seen it hit the van nearby actually, explain that one to Autoglass

"Yeah, from what i can work out, the windscreen broke after David Bentley hoiked a ball off the top of that tower block, trying to get it in a skip... yeah. Hello? Hello?"

We should put him on a pay per goal/decent-cross/half-arsed-attempt-to-get-the-finger-out contract. Might get the best out of him.

Or maybe his agents should bet him his gold watch before a game as to wheter or not he will score or creat a goal in a match, it might motivate him more then the thousands of pounds we pay him a week (seems to have worked here if this is not staged)

Hmmm. My vote is :bs:

With all the health and safety regs in the nanny state, Bentley would have been locked up for this by now.

You spell it with two 'L's'; 'Skill'

Thanks for that, now can you come round and fix my laptop so it doesn`t, er, peak too early shall we say.
There doesn`t seem much point in faking it, he would get abuse from the whole country if found out. For example,
Too gain, this much
Too lose,

this much.
