The last game they lost was in november vs. Sampdoria, since then they won 14 and drew 2 (inter, Barcelona), scoring 31 goals and allowing just one.

The fact that they are an italian team gives me some annoyance when comes to breaking them down..

Dybala was basially "marked out" of the semi-final back in 2017 vs Barca, which Juve won 3-0 (at home) after Barca had totally dominated play/possession but hardly had any chances. And yet Dybala scored 2 goals!
Juve is the master of deception. They may look out-played and set on defense-only...just to strike you with their deadly counter-attacks - and, once/if they score, they close the door with one of the best defenses around.

This is the scariest part. Tactically, I'm sure we can break them down, and I don't necessarily think they have a stronger team. I'd say the lineups are fairly equal, actually we have advantage in several positions.

What they do have over us, is experience and know-how on winning those games. They're the master of stealing goals from barely any chances, frustrating their opponents, keeping a tight defense. The likes of Chiellini have great experience in dealing with strikers, Kane will face quite a duel against him. Their attack without Dybala lacks creativity, but they are clinical. Higuain is scary on his day, even though he's been known to miss on big occasions - let's hope this game is big enough for him...

That Fiorentina game is very telling. On paper Fiorentina dominated, 12-4 shots, more possession, but as always Juve walks out winners. Taking advantage on a set piece and a late defensive lack of concentration. In reality, Fiorentina never really carved their defense open. Juve typically kept them in check, and took advantage of what they got.

We cannot afford to be naive against them. We'll probably dominate possession but we won't get too many chances, so we need to take what we'll get. Also make sure we stay tight at the back and don't make silly mistakes because we will be punished.

I bet kane is massively pumped for this. He knows Juve are considered the best defence around. If he can bag a couple tomorrow media will go into a frenzy.

If he bags a couple tomorrow, he can definitely say he is one of the 3 best players in the world. He is probably is already in that top 3 but a couple tomorrow against the best defence in Europe would confirm it.

watched them against Fiorentina. They got a 2 nil win but it was one of those Against the flow type of wins. Fiorentina bossed the midfield and played some good football whilst pinning back Juventus but they just could not take their chances. Again as always though the juventus defence was really good.

The good news for us is Mandzukic went off injured so might not play or will not be 100%, Matuidi is also out and Barzagli looks to have picked up a bad muscle issue yesterday. Dybala is also still out along with Cuadrado.

That's a lot of big game players missing whilst we have a fully fit squad.

Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado, Blaise Matuidi, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Andrea Barzagli are absent from the two-time competition winners’ squad.

Could be a good strategy to get at them in this first leg whilst there's a few players missing. A goal for us tonight will be crucial in this tie, as long as we don't lose by more than one in the process.

Really think that this will be a huge test. Well-shaped defenses and brilliant set-pieces are our two biggest weaknesses IMO, and Juve can offer a masterclass on both. Will be interesting to see how the boys react to playing them.

11.30 KO derby with Torino. Dybala may be back. Interesting to see what difference he makes.
