I'm presuming a mummified Del Piero will turn up along with a back three who have an average age of 52.

They are a solid team who like to control the game, they are hard workers with a talented and balanced squad. They have very strong depth particularly in midfield.

They have Dyabla who is a magical player, but also still inconsistent and can be marked out of a game. Players like Cuadrado and Higuain can also be inconsistent and often get flack from the fans, but their strength in depth somewhat masks the problem
They also have Alex Sandro, who is exceptionally good.

They have an ageing defense, who is not quite the level it was the last few seasons. However, since Benatia has come back into form they look much better. After a patchy start they have started getting solid results, beating rivals Napoli and Roma with only a draw against Inter blotting their copybook.

We can beat them if we hit them with pace, a high press and really get at them, though we need to pick our moments.

Last season they were immense. This season they’ve bloated their squad and the manager either doesn’t seem to know what his strongest team is or to keep everyone happy he keeps chopping and changing the line up week in week out.

My older brother is a Juventus fan so I watch almost every game. I’m going to make some points

Mandzukic will be their key player against us. He always lurks on the back post on crosses and that’s how he scores his goals/creates chances. If we start Trippier he would have big troubles marking Mandzukic on the penalty are.

When they’re defending they kill spaces. Khedira is a master of killing spaces in midfield and Pjanic and probably Matuidi will help with that

Pjanic is a set piece specialist. It would be suicide if we’re giving away free kicks just outside the penalty area. Their corners are very dangerous too, Chiellini and Benatia are very strong in the air. They usually put the ball centrally in corners.

They play 4-2-3-1 isch on CL. Their starting eleven will probably be:

Buffon

De Sciglio/Barzagli (sometimes even Cuadrado) Benatia Chiellini Sandro

Khedira Pjanic

Cuadrado Dybala Mandzukic

Higuain

Cuadrado is very fast and if he and Douglas Costa are on the pitch at the same time we need to be careful for counter attacks.

Since the first game is at home for them they will probably make sure they don’t concede which means that they won’t be very attacking. They will live on counter attacks and set pieces. Their fans will make a very good atmosphere.

Allegri is a manager that can be boring most of the times but he’s very careful, lives for details. He will make sure Juventus doesn’t make silly mistakes in a big game like this. He usually make defensive substitutions.

We can’t underestimate Juventus, remember that they are the runners up in the CL.

I think it’s 51-49 % chance against us that we will go through. We need to be clinical when we get our chances because we won’t get that much. I think players like Aurier and Dembele/Winks will be important for us. We need a player that can dribble in midfield. I’m optimistic that we can go through but if we didn’t I wouldn’t be mad if we gave our all

Scary front 4!
