I think Sweden are starting to suffer from their second lines being weaker than Canada's because of the injuries Sweden have.

Think that's it... Henke kept us in the game but nah... can't see us coming back from this.

Hehe, suppose there's some truth to that :)

But there's really only one hockey team I care about and that's Luleå Hockey in the SHL.

What's the quality like in the SHL? Without any biased? :p Obviously not as good as the NHL, if I was to guess I'd say it was inbetween the DHL and KHL - would that be accurate?

3rd in the world I'd say, but there's some distance to the KHL and NHL, so I think you're right :)

Top 5 in the world imo is:

NHL
KHL
SHL
DHL
SM-Liiga

Most players view the SHL as the first step towards Russia and NHL, so there are a lot of quality players coming through (just look at all the Swedes in the NHL). There are alos a lot of foreign players using the SHL as a stepping stone. Anze Kopitar, for example, played in Sweden before moving to the NHL and now he's one of the best in the world.

Canada was the better team, no doubt about it.

Can't be too dissapointed with the hockey results though, a Swedish silver and a Finnish bronze is still very good.

Kalla's massive run in the ski relay was still the best part of Sochi 2014 imo.

Sochi 2014: Russia Winter Olympics 'gas' claims investigated
The World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) has promised to take action over claims Russian athletes inhaled performance-enhancing gas at the Winter Olympics.

German broadcaster WDR reports athletes used the noble gas xenon, which academic studies say causes an increase of the hormone erythropoietin (EPO).

It is forbidden to artificially increase the amount of EPO in the body.

Wada president Craig Reedie said: "Our commission which monitors the banned substance list will take on the issue."

WDR alleges that xenon has been used by the Russia for years and that the country's ministries of sport and defence recommended its use "with the aim of improving the performance of the athletes" and because the gas "is not monitored by Wada".

Using pharmaceutical methods to increase oxygen intake, thus improving performance, is banned by Wada.

But using another method to stimulate the natural production of EPO is not outlawed and regarded as a grey area by some.

Hosts Russia enjoyed a successful Winter Olympics in Sochi, winning 13 gold medals to top the medal table.
