Here's a prediction - In a flurry of self-generated media hype he does take a lower league job, an ill judged one that he thinks will propel him into the big leagues inside a fortnight, but he arrives and there's no transfer pot and a lot of young players, he gets frustrated inside three months after almost bankrupting the club through hiring a selection of dockers on massive wages and leaves "by mutual agreement" (because, "Fuck off", "alright..." is mutually agreeing, i suppose) and then he'll hire a dozen lawyers to pursue the club for money they don't owe him, further pushing them into financial obscurity.

What odds I get on that? He's shown form for all of it in the past, maybe this will be his nadir as they all align like planets.

I don’t know. What were the people of Chernobyl thinking?

Dunno. Maybe "Nuclear catastrophe has wrought us into hideous, deformed, deranged monsters. Let's find somewhere as fucked up as ourselves to twin with."

Only joking ChernobylGrimsby, I've nothing against you really.

Can we change the name of this thread to the "Let's all laugh at Sol Campbell"? :D
