Sol's agent, Sky Andrew on Talksport saying Sol did nothing wrong. He didn't run down his contract because he was never offered a new one....... then he goes on to say a new one that matched his potential or something like that. Sky says he is one of the most honourable footballers he's knows and he honoured his contract with Spurs.

He moved to Arsenal purely on football terms to reach his potential and it was not about money. He claims he was offered more money by 5 other clubs. I don't believe this. If he was offered more by Utd, Barcelona or Juventus he still would have won trophies with them and 'reached his potential'.

What a load of revisionist bollox.

He was offered a deal that would have made him the highest paid player in England, but he wanted £20 million over 3 years with the option to walk, as a free agent, if we didn't make CL. He was 27 at the time, making him 30 if we didn't make it, yet he left for Footballing reasons?

The **** wanted that £20 mill so he screwed us for the transfer value to get it, CL wasn't the consideration it was the bonus on top of his 30 pieces of Silver.

All of this is documented, which makes that fuckwit Sky look as mentally retarded as Judas himself.

Well done Spurs for flipping the bird to the pond scum. May he rot.

Since he walked out on Notts Coun.....sorry.......since he retired, first he wanted to become an actor, then the prospective Tory MP for Kensington & Chelsea, then Lord Mayor of London, then Lord Campbell and at the last election he was telling the unemployed, the disabled and undeserving poor to vote Tory.

And the actual thought of him lecturing the star player of a 'club-in-the-gutter' on the values of honesty and loyalty?......he's an arrogant, self-entitled, untrustworthy, delusional, narcissist t*t - that's why he can't get a job.

Meanwhile Steve Bould, Per Mertesacker and even Tony f*cking Adams all manage to get jobs. He needs to look in the mirror.

Former England defender Sol Campbell is so frustrated by the refusal of clubs to give him a manager's job - or even an interview - that he is willing to "start at a non-league club" and work without a salary. (Observer)

He does seem to have a persecution complex, I wonder if he has ever thought it might be his fault? I doubt it.

Anyone remember him mumbling his way through an episode of MOTD a while ago? What chairman could watch that and many other ties you see him speaking and think he'd be good at getting his point across to his players.

Not that I don't think black mangers are struggling to make a breakthrough.

But the ideal scenario for Campbell would be to secure a job in England, because he has a young family, so he can continue his ambassadorial work with Arsenal

Sure, I bet any prospective club would love for him to continue working for Arsenal at the same time.
